The disgraceful news in the last week that justice campaigner and self-professed ‘anti-paedophile campaigner’ Jason Packer was caught and jailed for six months for possession of child pornography is the sort that makes the stomach of every decent citizen turn. It highlights the scary reality that sometimes individuals who perpetrate the worst crimes are the same ones who act like campaigners against it.
Jason Packer, whose computer had images of children between 5 and 10 years old plus images of children being raped and killed, claimed the images on a document named ‘Explosive Hidden Hancock File’, had been planted onto his computer. He maintained his stance right till the end but failed to convince a jury of this. Nothing is impossible in this world we live in, though it should be considered unlikely that the jailed man was actually framed. Some Paedos become jealous of other paedophile’s and sometimes seek to expose their rivals quickly so that they can secretly continue to further their wicked ways.
Only the day before Packer was exposed, American Actor Mark Salling, was arrested after officers found hundreds of illegal images on his computer. The Los Angeles police department internet crimes against children task force unit served a warrant on him after cops were tipped by his girlfriend about the indecent images, according to a TMZ source. He was immediately arrested and had to pay a $29,000 bail.
SICK
Paedophilia is a sick condition in adults who have warped minds, and who take a sexual interest in children. It is far from inconceivable that many are trying to relive their lives at the same very young age group they target, and ultimately give into perverse thoughts and sometimes plans, of lusting and engaging in sexual activity with young kids. Such messed up individuals were often from dysfunctional homes, rejected by those they fancied, and end up taken solace from feeling in control by the thought or act of subduing powerless individuals, more especially in a sexual way. Incontrovertibly, such outcasts have a loose screw, and really should be cut off from society because of the worrying dangers they pose to the public. Why should they be allowed to integrate with normal people once we establish them to be misfits?
Only last year July, the claim that Paedophilia interest is natural and normal for human males was stated at an academic presentation at Cambridge University in the presence of students and some lecturers too. ”At least a sizeable minority of normal males would like to have sex with children… normal males are aroused by children”, the speaker confidently stated. What he forgot to add was that not everyone shares his notion of normality in this respect and that he was inevitably imposing his value judgement on his audience, many of who were shocked and speechless.
STRANGE
One attendee and the enthusiastic participant were Tom O’Carroll- a multiple child sex offender, the long-time campaigner for the legalisation of sex with children and former head of the Paedophile Information Exchange. “Wonderful!” he wrote on his blog afterwards. “It was a rare few days when I could feel relatively popular!” Strange? Even more strange is the view of Ken Plummer, an outstanding professor of Sociology at Essex University who said ” Paedophiles are told they are rapists and seducers of children. That children are innocent and devoid of sexuality. ”But Paedophiles know from their own experience that this is not the case”
Another bright, but odd contributor on this subject is Ham Powell is one of the country’s most distinguished psychologists, a past president of the British Psychological Society and a current provider of psychology support services to the Serious Organised Crime Agency, the National Crime Squad, the Metropolitan Police, Kent Police, Essex Police and the Internet Watch Foundation.
In Perspectives on Paedophilia, however, he co-authored a chapter which stated: “In the public mind, paedophile attention is generally assumed to be traumatic and to have lasting and wholly deleterious consequences for the victim. The evidence that we have considered here does not support this view … we need to ask not why are the effects of paedophile action is so large, but why so small”.
FIXATED
An adult can consciously become fixated on the thought of romancing a child or engaging sexually with one, extending this through to several other kids in their imagination or the real world. However, such unusual or even strange adults should immediately know that those series of thoughts are twisted and deranged, and dump them immediately. Humans are infinitely different in their interests and proclivities, but it is important to have boundaries. The academics who have tried so hard to push the boundaries to normalise paedophilia have not matured in their perspective of reality.
They overlook the fact that children must be allowed to mature and develop to an age of true adulthood before an adult shows any sexual interest in them. They forget that children are not old enough to make well informed sexual decisions and if it were ever deemed ok for adults to engage sexually with them, we would have an epidemic in which children are subjected to sexual exploitation of the highest order, even much worse than happens today.
Packer and Salling are not necessary horrible individuals with no good bone in them. What they are is sexually and emotionally sick individuals, to the extent of disregarding the grave dangers of their endeavours. They need to accept that they have a deep problem. The same goes for the professors cited in this piece. These professors have developed their intellect through years of academic studies but have failed to address the fixation they have on children probably because they want to justify their perversion. Parents must train their children well to be very careful of adults who take more than a reasonable interest in them because we have all sorts of weirdos walking this planet.
Parker was handed a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years restricting his internet use and he must sign the sex offenders’ register for 10 years. Sailing is out on bail, but his acting career is practically in ruins.
