Rogue landlord Robert Crow is battling to get two foreign squatters out of his doomed property after a court order prohibited him from having tenants without the permission of Southend Borough Council.
The 70 year old landlord who was previously barred from having visitors at his property says the squatters at his property have asked for 10 days to find somewhere else, but the courts do not permit him to have anyone there overnight between the hours of 21.00 and 0900 everyday.
The fresh court restrictions forbid him from having more than one tenant at his property unless without identification by photocopies of a valid driving license or passport. The courts also insist on financial good standing evidenced by two written references from professional persons or persons of similar good character.
Included in the modified Criminal Behavioural Order imposed by Basildon Crown Court a week ago was the prohibition of any daytime accommodation or gathering at his property in any form during any circumstances , whether for financial gain or other benefit, or free of charge. The CBO order initially meant for 2 years was extended to 5 years.
An investigation conducted by The Eye Of Media.Com revealed that a previous court order forbidding him from having visitors at his property in April 2019 was tampered with to include residents after it was interpreted by somebody in the court to include residents. However inquires we made confirmed that such a confirmation would have required the approval of a judge.
The Crown Court has now clarified the legal restrictions the notorious landlord is obligate to abide by. A distressed mr.Crow told The Eye Of Media.Com: ” I have been giving a court order not to allow anyone at my property, but I have told the only residents at the property to leave, but they have refused to leave. They have asked for 10 days to leave, but they are not allowed to stay for even one night. It is impossible for me to enforce this order because they are refusing to go

Southend Borough Council took mr.Crow to court for in 2016 for 16 breaches to a Houses of Multiple Occupation(HMO) regulations, and leaving his property in an unfit state for habitation. Two of the charges relate to not having a clear and unobstructed fire escape, and one related to not providing adequate bin storage. In 2018, he was fined £39,000 for further breaches to an hmo.
