Prisoner Released From Jail To Learn Of Three Family Deaths

By Eric King-

A 52-year-old man has been released from jail after 5 months on remand for attempted murder.

He was released on Monday to discover he had lost three members of his family, one being a victim of a murder.
His mother, brother, and niece all died during the five-month period he was incarcerated at Chelmsford prison. Lucas’s brother, 69-year-old Noel Brown was murdered in South London with his wife Marie Brown at their home in Deptford, South London.

A neighbor told investigators at the time that they saw Mr. Brown at his home at about 8 pm on Thursday, November 30. Around midday, on Saturday, December 2, his daughter, 41-year-old Marie went to his flat out of concern for his welfare. She was found dead a few days later. She, like her father, had suffered a ”compression to the neck’, meaning she was strangled. Police found no signs of a break-in or any sign of a struggle in the property. The death remains mysterious.

Brown’s younger brother, 52-year-old Kenneth Lucas was held on remand in September after being accused of stabbing a flatmate in the neck at a notorious property in Southend Essex On Sea in September 2017. Lucas was residing at a property in Devereux Road owned by landlord Robert Crow who takes in the homeless, but faces court battles with various lenders for some of the flats in the properties. When The Eye Of Media.Com was informed about this story, Lucas at first was reluctant to talk to until he was persuaded to say a bit. He said ”I’m gutted. I’ve come out to hear I have lost 3 members so f my family,. I was in jail all along, its such a shame”

Noel Brown, 69, and his daughter, Marie Brown, 41, were found dead

The victim known as Antonio was a known thief who was apparently caught by Lucas going through his personal belongings. The attempted theft led to a physical fight between Mr.Lucas and Antonio, and the latter ended up with a stab mark to his neck. Mr.Lucas claimed his flatmate produced the knife and accidentally stabbed himself, but cops naturally arrested him and charged him with attempted murder. The Eye Of Media.Com heard that the alleged victim was a man on the wrong side of the law and did not show up for court.

Antonio’s absence from court gave Lucas an automatic acquittal, and now Lucas plans to go for compensation. He will need to show that police unlawfully held him on remand for the 5 months he was held there, or that his arrest was unreasonable given the available facts. The weapon used to inflict the stab wound on the victim was never recovered, but with only the alleged assailant and the alleged victim, it did not leave many options as to who may have stabbed him. Whilst in jail, Lucas was summoned to court for Council Tax, but lost all receipt to his benefits.

He was fortunate in the very cold snowy weather to have waiting accommodation for him, but the landlord, Robert Crow, who is in a debt crises says he can only house him temporarily. Mr.Crow told The Eye Of Media.Com Lucas was lucky to have a roof over his head, but will give him a 2 weeks deadline to get some rent.

”I am the so-called rogue landlord putting a roof over this man who would otherwise freeze to death after just coming out from jail, he said. Humanitarian’s like me are not appreciated much. But there is a limit. I have mortgage arrears, but will not have any more tenants who cannot pay their rent. I expect the DWP and the housing benefit department to pay his rent or have him out on the streets in the freezing cold”.

Mr.Crow faces losing his property if the many indebted lenders have their way on the heavy charges they claim he owes. The controversial landlord disputes the many charges against him and has branded them all a corrupt campaign against him. He has given a number of documents to other writers in the team to research.
