By Charlotte Webster-

Prince Harry has announced he and his wife will be taking legal action against the Daily Mail On Sunday.

Harry made the emotional announcement as he launched  an attack of the British press against his wife Meghan Markle.  He said he feared he was  ‘falling victim to the same powerful forces’ that Princess Diana faced. Prince Harry launched the extraordinary attack on the British media tonight.

The Duke of Sussex accused the  press of ‘bullying’ and running ‘relentless propaganda’, adding that  he feared Meghan having to face same ‘powerful forces’ as Princess Diana
Couple also said Meghan is launching legal action against Mail On Sunday . In a detailed statement statement on his and Meghan’s official website, Harry referenced Princess Diana and said his ‘deepest fear’ was his ‘wife falling victim to the same powerful forces’ that his mother faced.

VICTIM

In the statement he said: ‘Unfortunately, my wife has become one of the latest victims of a British tabloid press that wages campaigns against individuals with no thought to the consequences – a ruthless campaign that has escalated over the past year, throughout her pregnancy and while raising our newborn son.

‘There is a human cost to this relentless propaganda, specifically when it is knowingly false and malicious, and though we have continued to put on a brave face – as so many of you can relate to – I cannot begin to describe how painful it has been.

‘Because in today’s digital age, press fabrications are repurposed as truth across the globe. One day’s coverage is no longer tomorrow’s chip-paper.’
Harry added: ‘My deepest fear is history repeating itself. I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditised to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person.
‘I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces”.

INVESTIGATION

His attack comes as The Eye Of Media.Com has for been investigating to no avail how a writer at the Daily Express Online published an article with fabricated quotes supposedly from a relationship expert appearing to suggest that Meghan had come between the two brothers and she no longer needed the same level of support from him, now he has Meghan. The publication said it would investigate the claims, but took no immediate action to amend the article.
