Police Break Up Early Morning Party In Coventry

Police were called out to break up a house party in Coventry where a dozen revellers were flouting the national coronavirus lockdown.

Officers attended the address in Coundon in the ear;y hours of this morning where they found a dozen people completely disregarding the social distancing measures designed to help turn the tide against Covid-19.The group comprised of several youngsters in their 20’s although there was a toddler present at the party, and a  a few attendees in their 60’s

Neighbourhood officers  in Foleshill  discovered the group of  over 20 people at the barbecue ignoring the lockdown and clear guidelines about social. The gathering included a toddler and several people estimated to be in their 60s who were clearly flouting social distancing instructions.

Shockingly, the individuals  protested when the police told them their behaviour was unacceptable.They refused to disperse prompting the police to tip the barbecue over. The incident is shocking and reveals just how reckless people can be in the face of a world emergency like this.

West Midlands Police did not comment on a question from The Eye Of Media.Com as to why the individuals were not fined, but aWest Midlands Police spokesman said: “Despite the Government’s clear social distancing instruction last night our officers today found a group of 20 people ignoring the lockdown and tucking into a barbecue.

“Neighbourhood officers were on patrol in Foleshill Road, Coventry, just after 2pm when they smelt food cooking and smoke rising near flats in Culworth Court.

“They were shocked to find a group of around 20 people, including a toddler and people estimated to be in their 60s, freely mingling and standing shoulder-to-shoulder around a buffet.

“Old and young gathered at a barbecue in total disregard of social distancing instructions.” The cops here dealt with them with soft gloves, they should have been fined.
