Pentagons Official Declassification Of Ufo Footage Only Scratches The Surface

The Pentagon’s declassification of  three videos of “unidentified aerial phenomena” showing strange objects racing across the sky is of major significance, and only scratches the surface of available research, a U.S senator has said. It signifies the easing of disclosure  on extra terrestrials.

Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who tweeted in support of the Pentagon releasing the videos on Monday was instrumental in  funding  a $22 million program in 2007 to investigate UFOs (in his tweet Monday Reid added that the videos “only scratch the surface of research and materials available.”

The black and white videos were recorded by Navy pilots – one in November 2004 and two in January 2015, the U.S Department of Defence said. They footage has been shared in the past, but never in this  official capacity. One of the clips shows a dark circular object flying in front of a jet, another shows a small object speeding over land and the third shows a circular object racing and then appearing to slow down as it approaches the camera.

One of the videos was filmed over the Pacific and the other two were on the U.S east coast, according to reports. In one of the 2015 videos, a voice can be heard saying: “There’s a whole fleet of them.”Another voice adds: “They’re all going against the wind. The wind’s 120 knots to the west. Look at that thing, dude. The U.S Department of Defence said in a statement: “DOD is releasing the videos in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos.”

They added that the videos had been reviewed to determine that they did not reveal any “sensitive capabilities or systems” or “impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena”. The videos had been “circulating in the public domain after unauthorised releases in 2007 and 2017”, the statement said, adding that “the aerial phenomena observed in the videos remain characterised as ‘unidentified’”.

The three videos show what the pilots saw during training flights in 2004 and 2015. Two of the videos  had been published by the New York Times in 2017, and the  other video was released by the To the Stars Academy of Arts and Science group, a media and private science organisation. The 2004 video shows an incident that happened 100 miles out over the Pacific, according to the New York Times. Two Navy fighter pilots found a oblong object hovering above the water. It then flew quickly away. “It accelerated like nothing I’ve ever seen,” one of pilots, Commander David Fravor,

Alien activity in the skies are widely believed by researchers and ufologists to represent other life in the universe.  The extent of the activities of the other life has included ufos seen turning off of missiles . Others have extended it to include abductions, many of which has been reported but are still very difficult to absorb as factual occurrences.

All of the nuclear facilities—Los Alamos, Livermore, Sandia, Savannah River—all had dramatic incidents where these unknown craft appeared over the facilities and nobody knew where they were from or what they were doing there,” according to investigative journalist George Knapp, who has studied the UAP-nuclear connection for more than 30 years. Knapp has gathered documentation by filing Freedom of Information Act requests to the departments of defence and energy.
