Paul Gascoigne To Appear For Entertaining Event In Wales This November

Former England Ace, Paul Gascoigne will be appearing in Wales this November for an event to entertain a wide audience. 

The 55-year-old, widely known as ‘Gazza’, will share stories from his outstanding career and answer questions from fans at the De Valence Pavilion in Tenby on September 17 and at St Peter’s Civic Hall in Carmarthen on November 18.  Gazza has always been an hilarious character, and captured the imagination of the British public throughout his time as an England striker in the 90’s. He now makes regular appearances at events to keep the clock ticking.

The Tenby appearance which  starts at 6pm and tickets cost between £40 and £80 each, and  will include the opportunity to have a photograph taken with Gascoigne. In Carmarthen, the show starts at 7.45pm and tickets are priced at either £40 for a ‘silver’ option or £60 for a ‘gold’ option.

The gold tickets as they sound provide superior sitting position, which enables people those with those tickets to have better vision of the former  football star.

You can also purchase raffle tickets if you wish at £10 a strip. The prizes are a variety of signed memorabilia.

Gascoigne is one of the most famous and talented footballers to have ever worn an England shirt England. He became known worldwide for his performances at the World Cup in Italy in 1990. He was a national treasure for England at that world cup, and has ever since remained a well loved character.

He was remembered for his endearing celebratory dance after scoring penalties for England during penalty kick outs, and touched the nations heart when he cried openly on live television as England were knocked out at the semi-final stage on penalties, with his raw emotion striking a chord with millions of fans back home.

He then went on to have a successful career in England, Italy and Scotland, and again gained international recognition for his performances at Euro ‘96. He has long had a battle with alcoholism and admitted last year that he will “always be an alcoholic”.

Events like these is believed to give him a good opportunity  to engage with the public in a fun way

“My problem is that I constantly do things off the cuff,” he said.

“I just don’t think about what happens next, and that can be hard for others. Like everything I do, I cannot do it in moderation.

“I’ll be fly fishing until I’ve had enough, if I play golf I’ll do it for days on end. It’s my addictive side. That is my demon, my obsessive personality.”
