It has been one week since Mariah Carey launched her string of Las Vegas shows, but it seems to have hit a standstill already because of a poor throat. The multi music award winner who has also bagged 5 Grammy’s and no less than 18 no one’s, started her show last week on May 6th, and it went down like a storm. The 45 year old, often ridiculed for the occasional lip-syncing woowed her audience, nevertheless. Fans went social media mad expressing how their idol hit every single high note imaginable! Even the haters had good too say. The “Mariah #1 to Infinity show” has been roaring ever since despite it being early days.
BAD LUCK
Britney Spears is also currently embarking on a Las Vegas tour which has sold out twice over, and, despite taking a tumble last week and spraining her ankle, the “Hit me baby one more time” singer soon battled on with her shows, starting her comeback with her song, aptly entitled “Stronger”. The stars are having bad luck in the land of the lucky, as now our very own song bird, Mariah, was forced to cancel her Wednesday night show. Her show was set to take place at the city’s Caesars Palace, but according to her publicist Mariah needs to take a break because of a rather nasty case of bronchitis.
WORK HARD, PLAY HARD
Good job she had a little fun before the infection set in! Last Friday the legendary singer found herself at a Chippendale show, naughty naughty!! whose show was it? none only then the saucy and strapping Tyson Beckford!! Miss Carey even found herself on stage receiving a lap dance for the stud himself. Sin city indeed! All work and no play makes Mariah a dull girl!!! Despite her pending divorce from Nick Cannon the singer is still definitely living her life. Perhaps this is the reason some inside sources have suggested that the true reason for the cancellation was because of inadequate preparation for her rehearsals, though if this is true, it is a big shame contradicitng statements are coming from within the same team.
The superstar will be performing again soon, with Saturday the 16th her next scheduled show, though whether she is able to sing again is another story. Via Instagram the songstress wrote “Hey guys, I’ve been fighting bronchitis for the past few days.. almost better but on mandatory vocal rest per doctor’s orders. I’m so sorry to cancel tonight’s show but I promise to make it up to you!!! Love you always, MC”
