LOTTO bosses have called on lottery players in the Uk to check their tickets because a lucky winner has scooped the £12.8million jackpot. Lottery chiefs revealed a mystery Brit is sitting on a fortune following Wednesday’s draw

UK lottery winners have 180 days to claim their prize before it goes to good causes.

The winning numbers were 04, 18, 40, 41, 44, 46 and the bonus number was 54.

The grand prize of £12,803,486 has yet to be claimed, and Camelot call on punters to double-check their tickets.

Last week, a lottery ticket holder in Belfast has missed out on a million pounds.

The £1m Millionaire Maker prize from the EuroMillions draw on April 26 went unclaimed after the deadline passed at midnight on Sunday without the winner realizing they had won the jackpot

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said: “What amazing news, one ticket-holder has won tonight’s massive £12.8M Lotto ‘Must Be Won’ jackpot!

“Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call to claim this amazing jackpot prize.”

Two players managed to match five numbers and the bonus ball, earning them both £1,000,000.

As well as this, 56 Brits also bagged £1,750 after matching five numbers while 4,341 ticket-holders matched four numbers to each win £140.

Saturday’s Lotto jackpot is estimated to be a whopping £3.8million.

The first National Lottery draw was held on November 19 1994 when seven winners shared a jackpot of £5,874,778.
