Nice guy, Lineka, 55 and wife of six years, Danelle Bux, 36, are walking a new road, an unusual post-divorce relationship.
The pair recently split up officially- after months of living separate lives, according to the Sun.
Determined to remain great friends, they plan to regularly see each other, and also each other’s children. Gary and Danielle lineka are currently both in Los Angeles where they have met up with friends, including t.v presenter, Richard Bacon and enjoying dinner together. Photos from the trip have even been posted for the world to see.
The popular Match of the Day host of many years and retired, successful foot-baller, Gary has much going for him, apart from the loveable personality and good looks that definitely belie his fifty-five years. Lineka will surely look good for a long time more, for any prospective and deserving woman among the many that must be waiting on the side lines, with baited breath for the current dust to settle and wear off the natural, secret agony. Somebody is likely to shortly step into Danielle’s shoes. But, although, Gary appeared to make light of the divorce on Instagram, it cannot be a light matter- in reality, unless he was glad to see the back of Danielle. If it were so, he wouldn’t be interested in an amicable relationship, where they intend to see each other regularly.
The couple managed to handle the divorce with commendable maturity. They did not involve solicitors, only filling out the forms together at a cost of approximately £400, instead of possible tens of thousands. However, icons, should start to take some responsibility for the way they present important social matters, such as marriage- and the divorce that often follows it. Divorce is certainly, not a light matter, Gary.
Danielle entered the marriage at a mature age of thirty. The man she married was a good forty-nine. She had a daughter of seven, from a previous relationship. Gary already had grown up children, also from another relationship. A whopping four in number. It beats the imagination why a second and fifth child was not thoroughly discussed and agreed before tying the knot, if the matter was so critical. All that lavish wedding!
Anybody would support Gary’s strong view that a whining baby in the house could not possibly be something to jump up about at 50 plus, approaching senior citizen status. He probably would have been required to help with changing nappies, baby-sitting while mum went dancing with the girls, pushing a pram in the garden when he would rather prepare for his next talk show. Gary knows what is involved in having one of those sweet things around. He has the experience. They could even turn out to be twins! He has had enough children, for goodness’ sake. He had the sense to stand by his guns. Also, Danielle wants to live in Ls Angeles and pursue her acting career.
A happy marriage is worth everything. Danielle posted, ‘We have shared the most incredible eight years that i will always cherish…’. So, they were happy together. If the model suddenly woke up to realise that she would rather give Gary up, along with all the happiness, rather than not have his child whom she even never knew- and it did not even have to be Gary’s child- someone else’s child would do, apparently- just any child, valuable as all children are, Danielle by her action is telling the world she made an unforgivable error in marrying Gary. Perhaps she was hoping Gary would change his mind. She wants to live elsewhere and pursue her career. These are her priorities, not Gary. No gossips yet whether there is a secret beau somewhere.
Well, she now needs to find a man who would have known her reason for the divorce. He may be willing and able to meet her condition, he may wish to move from Los Angeles to to the South Pole, and he may also evidence the fact that a great, good guy like Gary, in the hand is worth more than a million unknowns in the bush.
Now, it is all well and good and fresh for this amicable friendship and the holidaying abroad in Los Angeles where Daniel wants to set roots. this may be helping to smooth down the smarting, internal arrows, particularly on Gary’s part. Two other people, one on each side of the parties will enter the scene. Time will step in too and it is hoped that Danielle will not look back. She cannot have her cake and eat it. Acting career in Los Angeles, a baby in the mix and this wonderful friendship with Gary who must carry on with his life too….let’s see.
If Gary decides to sign the dots again, it would help to close the age gap. If it is another twenty or so year gap, please, Gary, let her find a more convincing reason for the public, if she decides to leave. You have learnt your lesson, anyway – once and always.
