JUSTIN BIEBER PAYS TRIBUTE TO FRIEND WHO DIED IN PARIS ATTACKS

BY JAMES SIMONS

Justin Bieber is mourning the loss of a friend killed in the Paris attacks last weekend. Universal Music Group executive Thomas Ayad, was one of those confirmed dead at the Bataclan theater where the Eagles of death Metal concert was taking place. Why the group chose the name Eagles of death is anybody’s guess, but that name may be seen to have got them bad luck for some of those who are slightly superstitious.

The chairman and CEO of the group, Lucian Grainger, confirmed Ayad wa sone of the 89 people killed at the Bataclan theater where the Eagles of Death concert was held.

Bieber, actually knew Ayad, and shared a touching tribute to the late executive on twitter. Bieber wrote:

“Still thinking about Paris and my friend Thomas that we lost in the tragedy. He was a part of the team for years and I wish I would’ve had more time to thank him,” he wrote adding, “Make sure to appreciate people while you have them. Thanks Thomas for everything you did for me. You are appreciated and missed. Thoughts and prayers are with your family & friends #PrayForParis.”

Touching words, and there is no doubt that anybody who knew someone who lost their life in such sudden and unpredictable way would have been affected by it. It is a cruel way to leave this earth. Losing someone in that way provides a grim reminder of how unpredictable life is, and how much we should all cherish those who mean anything to us.
