Justin Bieber And Major Lazer Hit No 1 On  The Charts

By Lucy Caulkett-

Justin Bieber And Major Lazer’s “Cold Water”  has made it to the top spot on singles charts all around the world, but not so much in America.  The song has struggled to make it to the top, often floating high around the upper echelons of the charts.

Major Lazer collaborated with Justin Bieber in producing the top class tune. It has already been a success on streaming platforms, it is on YouTube where Diplo and his collaborators seem to think they’ll get the clicks they need to rise to the top.

The video has generated close to a billion plays, with that number  rising significantly every single day.  You tube’s tracking reveal the clip to have added 39 million new streams between Sept. 2 and 8.

Forbes has also revealed that the dance video complements the with the lyric video well. The new clip is fun to watch, but it also serves a purpose. The video is spectacular  in its view and appeal, and expect  to boost  viewing and clicking numbers on YouTube, as it’s an official upload from one of the artists. It only has four million new plays since it was uploaded less than a week ago, but that will grow, and since YouTube plays affect a song’s chart ranking on the Hot 100, “Cold Water” could eventually continue to climb because of this new effort.

And whilst the lyric video was uploaded to Major Lazer’s profile, the new dance-focused clip is housed on Bieber’s page- a much more valuable property. The Canadian pop star is blessed with a following of  over 24 million loyal subscribers, while the production trio behind the hit only has just over five million. Bieber sent his song “Sorry” to No. 1 earlier this year with a dance video- a plan which Major Lazer seems to be borrowing to give the singer another chart-topper.
Entertaining  and original, and they’re helping keep the tune afloat on the singles ranking.

Every time Major Lazer and company upload and publicise another video, it generates millions of views in addition to all other play counts of his.

By giving the fans something else to watch over and over, Diplo, Bieber and Lazer are convincing some of the same people to listen to the song on their streaming platform of choice, and then to head to YouTube and click play on the same track.

s very clear that Major Lazer and his friends aren’t done trying.
