Hospitalised Rogue Landlord’s Daughter Bars Brother And Social Services From From Seeing Him

By Gavin Mackintosh-

The  sister of notorious rogue landlord, Mr Crow has barred his brother and social services from seeing him in hospital, despite the businessman being the more committed member of the family looking after wellbeing from time to time.

Mr Crow appears to be undergoing what is worse than dementia, after his brother, who insists on anonymity,  informed The Eye Of Media.Com that the formerly boisterous landlord could not recognise him or his daughter, and has lost an enormous amount of weight.

His daughter, Frances, who is ironically a journalist for a local paper in the North of England, unilaterally drove social services out of the equation of her father’s rapidly deteriorating situation, and told his brother not to see him anymore because the ex landlord is apparently in a bad state and lost so much weight.

The landlord whose business came crashing down following a fall out with Southend Borough Council over issues of statutory compliance was moved into a care home in Grays where he had been residing after several visits and phone calls by his older  brother produced no response.

Police were eventually called and forced their way into the bottom flat of Devereux Road in Southend Essex, where they found the former landlord lying unconscious .  He eventually regained consciousness, but after medics concluded he was in no shape to look after himself, h was moved to a care home, where he remained for for  few months, before being transferred to a hospital after he fell and injured his head at the care home.

The worrying development saw social services called to intervene and oversee his well being whilst at the car home in Essex.

”However, his daughter Frances, has apparently taking over looking after his affairs, stating that social services were inadequately handling the situation.

”She does not want me to visit the hospital at all, he said. She is his next of kin and has power of attorney, and its the decision she has made”, he said.

There is nothing anybody can do at this stage, he is in a very bad way.

”He was left too long at the property without any electric and heating.

This publication was unable to establish why his own money was not used to purchase what he wanted to eat.

The former landlord had been accommodating homeless people in the much sought after conservatory area of Southend On Sea for a number of years, with Southend Borough Council paying him benefits money in the form of rent for his several unemployed tenants.

The council eventually  stopped his benefits, after they grew tired of him failing to comply with their regulations.

Mr Crow complained that the council had been unfairly targeting him because he was accommodating the homeless, though never explained why they were paying him benefits if he was the subject of their unfair attack.

The now axed landlord also said Stuart Burrell , who was jailed in 2019 for fraud of £370k was primarily interested in outsting him as a landlord. He also highlighted Tony Cox, leader of the Conservative Group, after claims by a whistleblower he had taken a £1,050 bribe from Southend Taxi Drivers’ Association to prevent Uber operating in Southend, to support his argument that the council was fraudulent.

His family and friends repeatedly asked to sell the property and draw a line over his drama, but Mr Crow consistently refused to do so, but opted to engage the council in continuous legal battle, which h always lost.

Mr Crow also accused the Council of being in cahoots with the courts in jeopardising his chances of victory.

The ex landlord has been estranged with his own family for years, including one of his his sons who was a DJ, and once lived with him.
