Glasgow’s Graphitti Disapproval About Boris Johnson

By Ben Kerrigan-

Glasgow seems to have expressed it’s Disapproval of new Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, with a derogatory Graffiti emblazoned on some of the walls of its city.

glasgowGlasgow overwhelmingly voted for Britain to remain in the European Union during June’s EU referendum, a vote dismissed by the eventual Brexit vote that dashed the hopes of the city’s voters.

Boris Johnson, the veteran politician who led the Brexit campaign, has been insulted by some naughty Graffiti writers who clearly consider him a negative figure. Glasgow, by all accounts seem to disapprove of Boris Johnson.

DEROGATORY

The derogatory writing refers to Johnson as a “fanny “, the literal or figurative interpretation meaning he is not a real man.

The demeaning statement came to the attention of the eye of media.com by an associate of the eye of media.com visiting Glasgow on a three day trip yesterday.

“Glasgow inhabitants generally don’t seem to like Johnson, Ron Patterson told the eye of media com.

“For someone to write such comments against him means that they understand politics and do not appreciate the role he played in bringing Brexit about”, he stated.

Ron went as far as raising the issue in a bar with some of the locals, and called us to feature their views.

LACKING

One reveler,  Ray Thomas,  a second year history student at University of Aberdeen, believes the writing is a reflection of Johnson lacking the qualities of  strength required of a  real man for honest political operations.

“Personally, I have always been struck by the way Boris Johnson avoided potential opposition when it came to informing Cameron about his decision to go with the Brexit camp”, he said.

“He  sent Cameron a text about 10 mins before he went public with his decision. It makes me wonder what exactly he was afraid of in leaving it so late”.

“A brave and.confident man should have been upfront with the then prime minister and explained the reason for his position”.

“Boris Johnson later was scheduled for a speech with Conservative Mp’s, when his campaign eventually produced the result he wanted. He canceled with just 15 minutes notice, why?Was he scared of them”?

“He was then expected to send a tweet confirming discussed plans to institute some.of his party members in key positions, but apparently never did.

“What really nailed it for me was the fact that following the Brexit result, as some members.of the press camped outside hus house for an interview, he just would not come out. Did he need .time to compose himself before facing the cameras?”

There is no evidence Johnson was actually  at home on th e morning of the referendum result, so the latter comment made by Thomas may not be accurate.

DIVISIVE

Johnson has been a divisive figure of sorts, ever since his Brexit campaign for Britain. Many conservative insiders strongly believe the main reason Boris Johnson decided to support the Brexit campaign was because of long held ambitions he nurtured to become the next prime minister to succeed David Cameron.

However, this is not something that can be proven beyond doubt. The Foreign Secretary may well have held a genuine believe that leaving the European Union was in the best interest of the country, no matter how much h his critics may disagree.

The foreign Secretary and former Mayor of London seemed to have scuppered his own chances of becoming prime minister, when he inadvertently turned his right hand man and main backer, Andrew Gove, against him at the last moment

BETRAYAL

The betrayal also ruined Gove’s chances of success for the post, but Johnson was eventually given the post of Foreign Secretary  by There’s May when she  sailed through without any real contest to become Britain’s only second female prime minister.

SHOCK

Johnson”s new post sent shock waves across the political world, with many deeming him unsuitable for such a highly diplomatic post.

Scotland ‘s first prime minister, Nicola Sturgeon, has expressed a desire for a second referendum for the  Scottish public to vote on whether to leave the UK in a bid to retain their former alliance with the EU.

Scots overwhelmingly wanted to stay, and therefore seem to resent Johnson fo his role in getting Britain out of the EU.

FLUENT

However, Johnson recently wooed an audience in Paris, when he spoke in fluent French in a bid to appease the French and show his multi lingual skills.

It remains to be seen, how well he executes the respectable post he has been appointed, particularly with respect to the ongoing negotiations with  EU countries to strike a sensible deal with Britain under a Brexit regime.
