FBI’s Important Interview Of Kavanaugh’s Old Classmate And Two Accusers

By Phillipa Anamaoh-

The FBI is to interview a former classmate of Brett Kavanaugh and two other accusers of the judge, as part of the investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct when Kavanaugh was at University.

Charles Ludington,  who teaches at North Carolina State University, was a former classmate of Kavaaugh, who has come forward to  throw further doubt  on Kavanaugh’s credibility. Ludington said he had seen Judge Kavanaugh slurring his words and staggering after excessive alcohol consumption while at Yale.

The professor also said Judge Kavanaugh “was often belligerent and aggressive” when drunk , adding that “I can unequivocally say that in denying the possibility that he ever blacked out from drinking, and in downplaying the degree and frequency of his drinking, Brett has not told the truth.”He noted that it was not Judge Kavanaugh’s drinking habits in college that worried him – it was the fact that he made questionable statements under oath.

“If he lied about his past actions on national television, and more especially while speaking under oath in front of the United States Senate, I believe those lies should have consequences,” Prof Ludington said. Ludington’s testimony will only add further cynicism about Kavanaugh’s denials of the allegations. Prof Liddington has completely challenged the integrity and honesty of Kavanaugh’s account, a position made much worse by two other women who are adding their own allegations to worsen the climate for the aspiring High Court judge.

The FBI’s contact with a second woman who claims to have been sexually assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh, could be significant to the outcome of the investigation into Kavanaugh’s alleged sexual misconduct in his teenage years. If as has been claimed, there is a third woman also waiting to offer damning testimony against Kavanaugh, he must be dreading what could become a serious probe that delivers more scrutiny and skepticism from the political and outside world.

Although the allegations  against Brett Kavanaugh go back several decades, they have strong relevance to the suitability of  President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee,  Brett Kavanaugh. As the criminal bureau opens a week-long background to the investigation involving previous sexual allegations made by Psychology Professor Christine Blasley Ford, it paints a negative picture for Kavanaugh, and his aspirations to be established in the highest court of the United States.

One could easily dismiss the allegations against Kavanaugh as politically motivated or spiteful, but when more than one woman makes claims of this type of sexual offence, it doesn’t look good for the accused. Allegations on their own do not provide evidence of guilt, but Kananaugh now has three individuals accusing him of sexual misconduct at Yale University, and a male friend back then saying Kavanaugh  was a heavy drinker, contrary to the image he conveyed during the hearings.

Debroah Ramirez, who attended Yale University with Kavanaugh was interviewed by FBI agents on Saturday. The questioning was a follow up to Ford’s allegations that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in the early 1980’s during their time at high school. Ms Ramirez was said to have given agents a list of witnesses, although it was unclear as to whether they would be questioned.Ms Ramirez has alleged that Mr Kavanaugh exposed himself and thrust his penis in her face during a drunken dormitory party when they were freshman students at Yale.

Third Woman

Michael Avenatii, a lawyer who also represented ex porn star Stormy Daniels stated on twitter that he is representing a third woman who has ‘credible information’ towards the investigation but he is yet to hear from the FBI.

The woman was last week revealed to be Julie Swetnick, a former government employee who alleged that she was gang-raped at a party Mr Kavanaugh attended while they were teenagers. She does not allege that she was assaulted by Mr Kavanaugh but claims that he was involved in high school parties where boys preyed on girls; sometimes by spiking or drugging the drinks so that the girls could not resist. She also stated that he was a “mean drunk” while in high school, adding that he was physically abusive with girls.

Those allegations, individually, and as a whole, would be slanderous if false, revealing if true. What matters most is what conclusions the FBI will reach after their investigation, and what it will mean for Kavanaugh and his aspirations to be in the Supreme Court following the nomination from President Trump.

President Trump is no fan of Avenatti- who has been representing Stormy Daniels in various court cases linked with Trump.  President Trump declared on twitter:

“I want them to interview whoever they deem appropriate, at their direction,”

“They’ll be doing things we never even thought of. And hopefully at the conclusion everything will be fine.” Last week the President roasted Avenatti on twitter calling him a “third rate lawyer who is good at making false accusations.”

While the president was swift to dismiss Avenatti’s claims, Mr Kavanaugh had fully denied allegations before the Senate judiciary committee on Thursday, characterizing the claims as a “farce” and “ridiculous”.

Senator Elizabeth Warren, a popular figure in the liberal wing of the Democrat party, said that watching the hearings had caused her to “take a hard look at running for president”. The brushing off of these serious allegations and government scandals has brought to light the oppressive patriarchy within the American government, causing more women in office to view their political sphere in a colder, harsher light.
