An evil man has been convicted for murdering his 8 year old daughter.Factory worker, William Bellingham, who stabbed his eight-year-old daughter through the chest in an apparent act of revenge against his ex-partner has been found guilty of murder.55 year old William Billingham, used a kitchen knife to kill Mylee Billingham after dragging her into his bungalow – moments after holding the blade to the neck of her mother, Tracey Taundry.
He had been in a rage over the fact the mother of his daughter had began a new lesbian relationship, and two days before the murder, she wouldn’t let him in to have a bath because her new partner was in the property. The cycle of rage and jealousy that would lead to murder was in motion.
In a rage of madness and twisted revenge to Mylee’s mother, after using a spare key to enter the property without Taudry’s consent, he dragged his young daughter into his home by the hood of her coat and stabbed her with a bladed knife as she cried out for her mother and screamed: “Please Daddy, no Daddy, stop it.”
”This was no accident and it was not a slight injury – it was a deep, violent thrust of a lethal weapon into the most vulnerable part of his young daughter’s body. Billingham underwent surgery after the apparent attempt to end his own life in the early hours of 21 September . He had dragged Mylee back into his home by the hood of her coat and stabbed her with a bladed knife as she cried out for her mother and screamed: “Please Daddy, no Daddy, stop it.”
Evil Taundry then dialled 999 from outside Billingham’s house in Brownhills, near Walsall, asking operators to hurry as Mylee was screaming “stop it daddy”.
Jurors at Birmingham Crown Court listened to horrifying details that revealed how a monstrous human being brutally killed his own daughter, with no sense of guilt or care in the world. deliberated for about 80 minutes before unanimously convicting Billingham of murder and a separate charge of making a threat to kill 34-year-old Taundry. He will be sentenced on Tuesday. Unemployed Taundry did not give any evidence in his murder trial , and said he had no memory of stabbing Mylee, claiming he was guilty of the lesser offence of manslaughter due to depression
He told police he never meant to cause Mylee any harm and had wanted to “protect her from the internet” so she could “remain a child. Billingham’s team claimed he was suffering from moderate depression and could not form a rational judgement or exercise self control at the time of the murder. They pleaded for a finding of diminishing responsibility, but jurors took just 80 minutes to deliver a unanimous verdict of murder.
Karim Khalil QC said of the killing: “It was swift, deliberate, clinical, brutal. It was not some manic unfocused assault,, said Karim Khalil of the killing.
Bill’s brother Mark Billingham is famous for being one of the stars of Channel 4’s SAS Who Dares Wins where he is an instructor to the recruits. He received an MBE for leading the mission in Iraq to rescue a Brit hostage, and also won the Queen’s Commendation for Bravery after capturing an IRA sniper using himself as bait.
Billingham is every woman and child’s nightmare. People like him is why many call for the death penalty because of the inhumane wickedness he displayed on his own child. We can only expect now that he will be giving the maximum sentence for his evil crime.
