EU ‘s Donald Tusk Himself Must Have A Special Place In Hell

By Lucy Caulkett-

Donald Tusk himself must have a special place in hell, after he made a  deliberate and foolish comment  suggesting those who promoted Brexit without planning how to deliver it have a special place there. Tusk tweeted his comments immediately after making them at a news conference.

Tusk told a news conference on Wednesday that he was wondering what the special place in hell looks like for those who promoted Brexit without a sketch of a plan of how to carry it out safely, before tweeting his comments shortly after. Guy Verhofstadt, the European Parliament’s chief Brexit negotiator, referencing Mr Tusk’s comments, later tweeted: “Well, I doubt Lucifer would welcome them, as after what they did to Britain, they would even manage to divide hell.”

Why the pair are even flirting with pathetic talk of hell over a political matter like Brexit is a question they should be answering. If anything, the very fact they express any belief in hell and associate it with something special, suggests hell probably has a special place for they themselves.  If hell is a place for the wicked, then one who considers it special must have a place there. Tusk and Verhofstadt both presented themselves like evil people through their statements; something that explains the very stubborn and difficult political position EU chiefs have held for a long time.

Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, who is now an independent MEP, tweeted: “After Brexit we will be free of unelected, arrogant bullies like you and run our own country. Sounds more like heaven to me.”

Commons leader Andrea Leadsom, who also campaigned for Britain’s exit from the EU, said Mr Tusk should apologise for his “disgraceful” and “spiteful” comments.

“I’m sure that when he reflects on it he may well wish he hadn’t done it,”  she said. The Democratic Unionist Party’s Brexit spokesman Sammy Wilson said: “This devilish Euro maniac is doing his best to keep the United Kingdom bound by the chains of EU bureaucracy and control.

“It is Tusk and his arrogant EU negotiators who have fanned the flames of fear in an attempt to try and overturn the result of the referendum,” Wilson added.

Asked about Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s letter setting out five conditions for backing a Brexit deal, Lidington gave a lukewarm response. “What is it that you don’t like about what’s in the Political Declaration at the moment?” he asked, saying that the document already envisages a partial customs union with the EU.ems to be me wishful thinking.”
