Essex Police Bailed Paedo Stuart Sargent 3 doors Away From Kids

By Gabriel Princewill

Essex police bailed a convicted Paedophile 3 doors away from where he lived with three young children under 10 years of age.

The Eye Of Media.Com can reveal that despite the paedo residing with the children, ages, 3 , 5, and 9 respectively, he was allowed to live less than a stone’s throw away from those for about a year.

The Eye Of Media heard of the astonishing blunder because the father of one of the children is a member of our team. We can’t name him for legal reasons, but we can reveal that he became alarmed and depressed months later after his estranged partner disclosed the information to him. When the incensed father discovered his daughter had been placed on child protection by social services, he became extremely concerned about what might have happened.

He became more incensed to know that the depraved paedophile lived second’s away from his daughter for up to a year, despite the overwhelming evidence of his paedophilia, and admission of guilt to the offences just before being arrested. The Eye Of Media.Com launched an investigation in an attempt to unearth the facts.

JAILED

Stuart Sargent was convicted and jailed in February 2017 for possessing a copious amount of child pornographic materials, and admitted to police that he had vile images on his tablet. The images found on his computer were of a category A and B- the most serious type.

Among Sargent’s offenses was his grotesque claim to have been abusing his own daughter. The fact Sargent was actually living with his step daughter, not his own daughter, became worrisome because of his sexually lurid claims. Sargent repugnantly told his paedo friends that he preferred children as young as 3 years old.

RISK ASSESSMENTS FROM ESSEX POLICE

Our first question to police was to justify their decision to bail a paedophile like Sargent three doors away from the little children he lived with. In response to our inquiry, Essex police told The Eye Of Media.Com that they conducted risk assessments in their decision to grant the bail so close to his former residence. A statement from them read:

”When individuals are released on bail, risk assessments are carried out and appropriate safeguarding measures are put in place. Where offences involve children, we will liaise with children’s social care. In this case, bail conditions were put in place to include no unsupervised contact with children”

We presented them with a freedom of information request, on their advice, but the ICO blocked it, citing The Data Protection Act.

It seems ludicrous that the Data Protection Act can be used to protect information relating to a Paedophile’s offences when sargent  was exposed by the local paper in Southend at the time he was jailed.

DEPRESSION

The father has since suffered from depression, anxiety and Insomnia due to The mother, whom The Eye Of Media.Com, also can’t name has been accused by him of concealing vital information in connection with Sargent’s offence and the court’s handling of it, so he turned to the police for some critical answers. So far, none has been forthcoming. The Eye Of Media.Com has launched an ongoing investigation to get to the bottom of what happened here.

The ICO has been contacted to look into this, and we expect a response in due course.
