Detectives Release Image Of Man Alleged To Have Committed Rape

By  Martin Cole-

Detectives investigating an allegation of rape in Brent have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection to a rape.

The victim, a 21-year-old woman, was approached by a man on Brook Road – near to Dollis Lane – on Thursday, June 24.

According to the woman’s criminal complaint,  she was followed by the suspect into Gladstone Park, where it is alleged she was raped.

The suspect is described is in his 20s or 30s, with brown skin, black hair and beard.

He spoke with a foreign accent and was wearing a dark body warmer, long sleeve top under the body warmer and light coloured jeans.

Met police ate looking for the man and are urging anybody who knows him to turn him in before he offends again. The search for his capture is getting more urgent by the day

Explaining why it took so long to being the  allegation to the attention of the public, a spokesperson for the Met told The Eye Of Media.Com: ”we normally exhaust all other forms of inquiry before we go to the media. The media isn’t the first thing we do. We use numerous CCTV footage to try and track perpetrators of crime, but when we can’t get a perfect image of people we are looking for, we just have to manage what we have. It is not the best image possible, but it could be enough to jog someone’s memory.

It always depends which avenue will get us more information, we use the most hopeful line of enquiry”.

The Met was unable to confirm to this publication whether the victim was able to positively identify the mans accent or state what manner of force he used in subjecting the victim to rape- but the horrifying act of rape and the lasting effect it can have on the minds of victims calls for an urgent need for the man to be caught quickly.
