Former lawyer of U.S president, Michael Cohen, finally attacked president Donald Trump during a damning testimony in which he referred to Trump as a racist conman who made him the worst version of himself.
In a testimony filled with bitterness , spite, and anger, the convicted fraudster and liar went all out to discredit the president, releasing a series of dangerous allegations that won’t just evaporate in an instant. His testimony was intended to reflect a shay, dishonest picture of the president, whom he said he was ”ashamed” to have worked with.
He called his former boss a racist, a cheat and a conman. He says he had both good and bad attributes, but that bad outweighed the good. Cohen went as far as saying the president had influenced him extremely negatively, saying: “Since taking office,” Cohen said, “he has become the worst version of himself.”
Republican Mark Meadows attacked the credibility of Cohen’s testimony, asking asked why he stuck with Mr Trump for 10 full years. He insinuated that Cohen was bitter that he didn’t get a White House job and was taking it out on his former boss?
“I got exactly what I wanted,” Cohen replied, noting that he preferred to spend his time in New York, with his teenage children. The most damaging of Cohen’s claims was documentary evidence he provided of payments made to him by Mr Trump – including a cheque with the president’s signature. Cohen said this money was a reimbursement for his 2016 election eve hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels.
Daniels claims to have had sexual relationship with Mr Trump in 2006. Her story has been widely publicised, leading to her publishing a book in which she gave intimate details of her relationship with the U.S president. Those claims are widely believed and have opened many doors for the porn actress to expand her porn career, causing many publications to blindly promote her cause to spite the American leader. Although The Eye Of Media.Com as a publication has frowned against the attention on promotion given to Daniels, there is no doubt that the revelations she produced has damaged Trump’s already controversial position to a large degree.
Cohen’s testimony today has done nothing to lessen the pressure facing the president, who will have many unnerving questions awaiting him on his return from Vietnam.
