An Atlanta Cop has been charged with the murder of a black man in Atlanta. James Burns is charged with Felony for the murder of Details Caine Rogers.
Atlanta cop, Burn’s case is a horrifying example of extreme racism by American officers who brutally commit murder with no fear if consequences.
Unsurprisingly so, when one considers that of the 184 police killings of black men in Georgia, no convictions of any of the officers had taken place.
Officer Burns, received a call from an off-duty police officer about a man acting suspiciously around the Monroe apartment I’m Georgia. Upon arrival, Mr. Burns, saw the Rogers turn on his break lights; this leading the police officer to try and block the road to prevent the black man from getting away.
FIRED
Rogers evaded the police car and drove away, but Mr. Burn’s came out of his car and fired shots at the car, hitting the Rogers at the back of the head. Rogers crashed into a parked car and was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
DECEPTIVE
Mr. Burns deceptively claimed Mr. Burns tried to run him over, a claim debunked by the testimony of eyewitnesses.and a dash cam. A report subsequently acknowledged that Mr. Burn was in no danger from Mr. Rogers, yet killed him.
PROTESTS
The charge comes at a time of widespread protests in America against the reckless killings of Black males in America.
CONVICTION
James Burns will eventually be convicted of murder in a verdict that will serve as a good precedent for cases involving the murder of black men by unscrupulous police officers. It is high time the American police treat all people like human beings and stop acting like crazy animals.
