Arsenal Given Bridgford Stand For Nottingham Clash

FA Cup holders Arsenal have been awarded the entire lower Bridgford Stand at the City Ground for their clash with Nottingham Forest next month.

The privilege will be implemented when Nottingham Forest host Arsenal on January 7 and have impressively allocated 4,335 tickets to Arsenal fans for the game, scheduled to be broadcast live on BT Sport.

Under FA Cup rules, away teams have the right to claim up to 15 per cent of tickets available , with away teams allocated the entire Bridgford stand.

Adults will be charged £25, with over 65s costing £18. Those aged between 12 and 17 will be £12, with four to 11-year-olds priced at £6 – though they must be accompanied by adults. Arsenal are 17 points behind leaders Man City 16 games into the season.

Arsene Wenger’s side have only picked up one point from their previous two games, making it imperative for them to avoid a third consecutive game without a win when they travel to West Ham on Wednesday night.

Arsene Wenger’s side have only picked up one point from their previous two games and will be hoping to avoid a third consecutive game without a win when they travel to West Ham on Wednesday night. The premiere league champions have agreed a £35.3million deal for Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish publication El Gol reported that a deal for the former Premier League man, who has a buy-out clause of £35.2million, could be finalized in the January transfer window. The deal will include a transfer fee of £32.7million, plus £2.6million in bonuses.

N’Zonzi has previously confirmed his wishes to leave the La Liga outfit in January after being frozen out of Sevilla’s squad since his substitution during the half-time draw with Liverpool in the Champions League in November. His bust up with manager ,Eduardo Berizzo has ruined their relationship, making it impractical for the striker to continue with the Gunners. Speculation prior to this point had linked N’Zonzi to Everton and Juventus, but it now appears he will settle with Arsenal, after what looks like a very attractive deal.
