AMERICAN TV STAR BILL COSBY ADMITS SEDATING WOMEN

Famous American television actor, Bill Cosby has admitted to getting prescription Quaaludes to give to women he wanted to have sex newly released documents show.

The documents, dating back to 2005,have come to light because of  a civil lawsuit filed by Andrea Constand — one of the several women who has publicly accused the comedian of sexual assault. Cosby has been accused of rape and sexual assault by over 30 women for offences dating back four decades.

The records were made public yesterday following the legal demands made by the Associated press. Cosby’s lawyer had previously fought the request for the release of the documents on the grounds it would be embarrassing to their client .

However, U.S District Judge, Edwards Robreno, questioned the integrity and logic of the opposition, asking why Cosby would be embarrassed by his version of effects.

Cosby’s public career  began in the 60’s with stand up comedy, though his rise to fame really came in the 70’s when he starred in a number of films. In the 80’s, he produced and starred in the television sit com series, The Cosby show. A household name in America, the allegations against the actor and author has broken the hearts of many of those who loved and adored him.
