Ambitious Entrepreneur Who Launched Suit To Change His Age

By James Simons-

An entrepreneur motivational speaker from the Netherlands who has launched a legal suit to change his age is very ambitious to believe he could succeed. Just for the record, he has no chance of success.

The entrepreneur and self-help guru says  doctors have confirmed he has the body of a 45-year-old despite being born in the 1940s. The doctor’s assessment inspired the pensioner to take action against his years and launch a legal battle to change his birthday from March 11, 1949 to March 11, 1969. How he expected to pull off the extreme request is anybody’s guess. His hope to make history was brave and ambitious of the entrepreneur, but the extreme goal is simply unreasonable.

Imagine how disjointed the world would become if he were granted the ridiculous request, thereby opening doors to endless requests for the rest of human history for name changes. Emelie Matelband is taking action against his local authority after he was prevented from changing his age on official documents. “It is really a question of free will,” he told a court in Arnhem Thursday, De Telegraaf reports. The court is expected to rule on the case in the next four weeks.“We live in a time when you can change your name and change your gender. Why can’t I decide my own age?” he said.

Emile’s local authority refused to amend his age on official documents, and now the oddball has launched a legal suit against them. He argues that if transgender people are allowed to change sex, he should equally  be allowed to change his date of birth. Declining his request will be inequality of treatment, according to his warped reasoning.

The  unusual Dutchman says he regularly encounters problems in society on a daily basis because of his age, including discrimination from companies who are reluctant to hire a pensioner. Emile also states that changing his age would be good news for the government since he would be renouncing his pension until he reaches retirement age again.

His case has now gone to a court in the city of Arnhem in the eastern Dutch province of Gelderland. The Eye Of Media.Com has heard that the judge has expressed some sympathy to his position, going as far as stating that one point in history, people changing their gender would once have been unthinkable, much like changing your age. However,  the court admitted there would be practical problems in allowing people to change their birth date, as it would mean legally deleting part of their lives.

The judge explained that such a legal change will disrupt the reality of his early years between 1949 and 1969,  also of the minds of those who knew him and his family. The judge said:

For whom did your parents care in those years? Who was that little boy back then?

The court is due to deliver a written ruling within four weeks. Defending his position, the 69-year-old explained:

”I have done a check-up and what does it show? My biological age is 45 years”. We bet you have mate. Looks like you need a check up yourself!
