Police launch CCTV appeal to catch teenage criminals who used knife for mobile robbery

Police have launched a CCTV appeal  to catch after a 14-year-old boy was robbed and threatened with a knife at Beckton DLR station.

The alleged incident occurred at the station at around 3.30pm on November 12, 2025, despite the perpetrators knowing that all underground stations have cameras.

The  14-year-old boy was confronted by three boys who threatened him with a knife before taking his phone. Two boys, aged 15 and 16, have been arrested in connection and released on bail while enquiries continue. Officers have released a picture of a teenager they believe could help with the investigation.
