Meghan Markle under sustained onslaught by Piers Meghan, after the former presenter was hired by Rupert Muddoch to front their upcoming tv network NewsCorp and The Sun.
Piers claims Meghan Markle would have nightmares over his comeback, which he said is a bigger comeback than Christiano Ronaldo.
Sitting in the Scarsdale Tavern, in Kensington, West London, where he met Meghan Markle, Piers said: “And I need to say a special thank you Meghan. As we sit drinking now, it was five years ago I met her here.
“And I bet she was sitting there celebrating my departure from Good Morning Britain so this move will be the stuff of nightmares for her. So cheers Meghan!”
Piers, a leading critic of the Duchess Of Sussex, lost his job after he dismissed all of Markle’s testimony on GMB, following her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Meghan reportedly complained to ITV boss Carolyn McCall and Piers was asked to apologise on air, but refused, quitting the show in the process.
His departure sparked as much uproar as the complaints against him, leading to media attacks against Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry, both of whom had upset the royal family, royalists, and supporters of Piers Morgan. Ratings for the ITV breakfast show immediately fell, with ITV executives admitting he is ”irreplaceable”.
Ratings temporarily returned to their normal levels, but the programme struggled to maintain, affecting their revenues as well. Piers Morgan’s assertive combative style and thorough questioning of guests on the show had been a big sell for the programme.
Morgan took to social media and used his Daily Mail column to launch further attacks against Meghan Markle, pointing out apparent inconsistencies in some of her claims, and presenting her to the British public as a liar. Meghan has never attempted to refute any of the journal’s claims that she is a liar.
Within hours of the statement release confirming the move, the News Corp share price reportedly rocketed by a staggering $400m.

Piers Morgan’s continued attack of Ms Markle suggests she is in for a hard time once Morgan returns to the screens, a she won’t be holding back on scrutinising the couple or launching attacks against them.
Morgan is believed to have a vendetta against Meghan Markle, after she ghosted him without explanation. The former television presenter also said he had heard other accounts ifrom people who had similar experiences, where she just disappeared from their lives mysteriously.
He has described the Duchess as a ”ruthless social climber”, out to destroy the monarchy.
Ofcom published a report on September 1 in which ITV was ruled not to have breached their code because they provided adequate challenges to concerning statements made by Piers Morgan on GMB the day after the Oprah Winfrey interview was beamed around the world.
Morgan has treated the ruling as a victory for freedom of expression, and repeated his claim not to believe the Duchess’s claims .
