The company said it will continue with its strategy of providing games ideally suited to recreational players, adding that the “content can be adapted to make sure it is the perfect fit for the target market in each jurisdiction.”

CEGO offers exciting, unique slot machines, produced by our own games developers in Aalborg. Each game offers plenty of entertainment and cash winnings, both big and small.

The operators online site ,Spilnu.dk, offers virtual online slot machines based on the classic slot machines that you may know from the arcade, as well as our own interpretations on them. We have added a good dose of bonus games, adding an extra dimension to the classic game type, as well as lots of extra entertainment.

From the very beginning, Spilnu.dk has operated under a Danish gaming license. We comply with all requirements for safety, payout percentages, accountability and more, as required under this official license

The award of a license comes a few days after the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, The Rt Hon Oliver Dowden MP, appointed Marcus Boyle the new Chair of the Gambling Commission to investigate  crime should be kept out of gambling.

Dowden’s appointment comes against a backdrop of accusations from DCMS Committee leader Julian Knight MP that the Commission is severely interfering with the Government inquiry into its role managing the National Lottery.

The Gambling Commission is instituted to-regulate the gambling market, and afford consumers good treatment and protection as the only sustainable basis for allowing businesses to provide facilities for gambling.

As well as regulating the wider gambling market, the Gambling Commission professes to have a strong track record of safeguarding The National Lottery and ensuring that it is run with integrity, protects players, and maximises contributions to good causes. We want to build on this success by running a fair and transparent competition for the next National Lottery Licence.

”That Licence will provide more opportunities for innovation and creativity while protecting the unique status of The National Lottery”, The Gambling Commission declares.

The Gambling Commission today informed The Eye Of Media.Com of the licensing  objectives that supportd gambling regulation. They include its stipulation that crime should be kept out of gambling, that it should be conducted in a fair and open way, and that children and other vulnerable persons should be protected from harm or exploitation from gambling.

Spilnu, CEGO’s website,  launched in Denmark in 2012, with Lyckost launching in the Swedish market in 2019, both of which generate the majority of their revenue from in-house games.

CEGO CEO Allan Auning-Hansen commented: “We are very excited to be able to expand into a new market; especially one as significant in online gaming as Great Britain.

“At CEGO, we have a proven concept and approach to player acquisition and retention. We look forward to taking this experience into the UK market and continuing to provide fun, high-quality gaming to players.

Neither the CEGO nor The Gambling Commission were willing to disclose how much expected revenues will be generated from the inclusion of CEGO in the gaming market.

A spokesperson for the Gambling Commission said we won’t be able to make that information public.
