British rapper Stormzy was celebrated after he turned up at a fan’s house as England beat Germany at Euro 2020 on Tuesday night.
The Three Lions’ victory saw celebrations break out across the country, and one group of supporters saw the BRIT Award winner top off their night with a special appearance.
The 27-year-old joined other fans at Box Park Croydon to witness England reverse decades of bad history by beating Germany 2-0 to get through to the quarter finals. The South Londoner was surrounded by company as he celebrated the victory after enjoying the game with several England fans.
Footage shows the rapper jumping up on the table with a friend, hugging and taking selfies. He was immediately surrounded by several fans who joined in the celebrations, as the song, football’s coming home was chanted with blissful joy.
The night continued as Stormzy had apparently promised a group of fans that he would swing by their home if England beat Germany.
Still wearing his England shirt, he was seen drinking and dancing with the young group at their house amid chants of “football’s coming home.”
David Baddiel and Frank Skinner – who famously sang England anthem Three Lions – were also there and belted out the song alongside the other supporters.
After the game, Baddiel shared a beaming picture alongside Olympic hero Mo Farah and wrote: “Might be coming home a bit faster with this lovely fellow on hand.”
On fan explained: “Stormzy promised some guys at Boxpark that if England won, he would go round to their house for a coupla cans & he stuck to his word!
“We love to see it.”
Another wrote: “Stormz promised some random guy if England win we gotta go to his house for the after party & now we’re here drinking beer.”

“Bro my Dad passed away on the day of my graduation last week Friday. Our favourite song of yours was blinded by your grace,” Nas commented on a video of the hit at the time.
