West London Chinese restaurant Zing Zing has become the first of its kind to offer the best selection of vegetable and vegan menu to accompany its traditional chinese food take away.
Zing Zing, which has branches is Kentish Town, Highbury and Islington, Kensal Rise, and Elephant and Castle believe their unique permutation of healthy vegan food will ”blow away” the minds of customers and because it has no competition in the world.
Their current menu which consists of Cauliflower chow mein and sweet sesame tofu, Hong Kong Noodles, steamed brown rice and grain, and others, is now being boosted with the new selection of vegan food aimed at also targeting the Vegan market. The restaurant aims to led the shout for healthy meal options and have taken time to plan this provision which they predict will eventually spread. Chinese restaurants in the Uk are mainly known for selling special fried rice, king prawns, and other dishes that are largely appetising, but generally unhealthy. The decision to launch an all Vegan menu was triggered by a number of requests from customers, which often go unnoticed in other food chain restaurants. ” we are definitely looking to distinguish ourselves from other Chinese restaurants in a remarkable way. Since opening, we have received many requests from our customers to increase our vegetarian and vegan offering. As the first Chinese takeout to create a dedicated vegetarian menu, we wanted to make sure we did it very well. We didn’t want to replicate our current dishes, rather we wanted to create something special that would not only wow the vegetarian and vegan market, but convert the mst hungry carnivores. ZZGreen is flavoursome, interesting, and indulgent. We truly believe w ehave created the best vegetarian and vegan Chinese Menu in the world”.
The all vegan menu is to be distributed across all the branches of Zing Zing in London, as the restaurant looks to expand its reach and stand out among others. Veganism has been on the increase in recent years, with several brits passionate about animal rights shifting towards vegan orientated meals. It appears strange if indeed no other Chinese restaurant in the Uk offer an all vegan selection of food, though this may be more because of custom and tradition than anything else. . With the vast vegan market bound to be attracted to the offer on display by this restaurant, Zing Zing may see its popularity grow very soon.
