Why Paul Gascoigne’s Revelation He Punched And Headbutted His Father’s Corpse Is Deplorable

Paul Gascoigne’s insane revelation that he punched and headbutted his father’s dead body as a way of exacting revenge is insane and deplorable.

His father, John Gascoigne, died from cancer in 2018, but the former England star revealed that he needed to exact revenge for his father’s sins. The precise nature of his father’s ‘sins’ were not mentioned by the ex footballer.

However, the former England Ace’s admission via The Sun’s podcast has been one of his most shocking admission to date. He said: “When it was just me and him in the hospital bed and he passed away, I f****** jumped on the bed and punched him,” the 53-year-old told the James English podcast via The Sun.

“I headbutted and punched him and got my own back from when I was younger. Then I just laid there and hugged him for 45 minutes.”

Gascoigne who is known to have suffered with mental health issues admits he and his father were close and he enjoyed taking him around  the world with me when I played,” he said.

“At the moment I’m alright, but I’ll be thinking of it, the good times I had – I probably had more good times than bad times.

Why Gascoigne is making these unedifying revelations is a bother to some The Eye Of Media.Com’s Think tank who are analysing the words of one of England’s historical  national stars. His admission is not only uninspiring, it also gives ideas to others who may have him as their idol, to emulate his crazy inclinations.

Gascoigne’s interviews with The Sun’s podcast gives greater insight into the  Gascoigne’s historical and ongoing mental health issues.

Gascoigne’s  revelation about assaulting his father’s corps was followed by another deplorable claim he made that he in the past told Roy Keane that he used to sleep with his wife.

Today The Mirror published an expletive laden interview by Gascoigne in which he recalled an incident in which his dinner with Liam Gallagher descended into a fire extinguishing fight.

Rehabilitation

Gascoigne has in the past sought rehabilitation to tackle his alcoholic addiction at the Roehampton clinic in south London. The treatment does not appear to have addressed or significantly improved the former football star’s mental health issues.

In October 2019, Gascgoigne was acquitted of sexual assault, after drunkenly grabbing the woman’s face and “forcibly and sloppily” kissing her on the lips on 20 August last year.
