Vigilante ‘paedophile hunters’ group is under investigation by police, after a gang of eight allegedly assaulted a paedophile at his girlfriend’s home.
36 year old Christopher Bradford, was set upon by members of vigilante group N-Force Justice, who traveled 200 miles from Leeds to Swindon in Wiltshire to confront the suspected paedophile. His offence was the act of exchanging messages with a fictitious character whom he believed was two 14-year-old girl. Following the entrapment, the vigilantes broke into Bradford’s girlfriend’s house, attacked him and live streamed the confrontation.
Bradford had made sexualized comments about underwear, sent pictures and a film, and asked the fictitious young girl to do the same. There was an assault on mr, a formal complaint has been made.”
As Bradford became more acquainted with the fictitious girls, he asked them to call him Daddy, and made plans to meet one of the youngsters at a cinema complex, despite knowing her supposed age.
Tessa Hingston, prosecuting, gave Swindon Crown Court an account of how the group confronted him at his girlfriend’s house, one filming it live on Facebook.
She said “The Crown do not condone the conduct of the group. There was an assault on Mr Bradford. It is under investigation, a formal complaint has been made.”

However, Judge Robert Pawson spared Bradford jail. He condemned the vigilantes for being ‘cruel’ to involve Bradford’s girlfriend, and described the group as ‘mob handed, the prosecutor said: “There was an assault on Mr Bradford, his lawyer stated. It is under investigation, a formal complaint has been made.”

Bradford’s attackers are currently on the run, as they try to escape justice for taking the law into their own hands. Filming the attack on facebook was foolish, because the law doesn’t condone violent actions under any circumstances. Bradford has been disgraced and also punished by the courts, but there will be many who feel his sentence is too light. This is jus
Bradford, admitted attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity, attempting to make sexual communication with a child and attempting to incite a child watch a sex act.
He must abide by a four month curfew, be under probation supervision, register as a sex offender and abide by a sexual harm prevention order for ten years. has been disgraced and also punished by the courts, but there will be many who feel his sentence is too light, but the sentence reflects the punishment levels for this type of offences. The sentence might have been more severe if the supposed girl’s age was younger than 14.
Paedophile’s are the rot of society, but this doesn’t give people the right to take matters into their own hands.
