Michael Nyathi, 18, from Posh Leigh-on-Sea in Essex, and a 17-year-old boy from Shoeburyness, also in Essex, have appeared in court, both been charged withKacicia’s murder and attempted robbery of his fiesta They are due before magistrates later.

Fabian Karcica, 19 from Southend, died of a stab wound to the chest after he was confronted by four thugs who attempted to steal his new Ford Fiesta. Fabian resisted their attack but was viciously stabbed with a black Rambo knife, The Eye Of Media.Com heard. The boys then all fled the scene, leaving poor Fabian to die a torturous death.

A 20-year-old man from Southend was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday and remains in custody. Teenagers who knew Fabian have spoken well of him. None of the teenagers we spoke to in Southend near the college and close to the forum library was prepared to have their name published, for fear of potential reprisals.

One teenager told The Eye Of Media.Com: ” He was a very good guy, always pleasant and quiet. He didn’t deserve this”. Another said ” Fabian was a friendly guy. He worked in Iceland and was attending college as well. It was his birthday only the other day, it’s so sad. There are people who know what happened but are scared to say anything. Friends of the killers know what happened, and some friends of Fabian know what happened too. People want revenge, they don’t want to talk to police. They see it as ‘snitching’. The police will obviously try their best, but these type of guts think differently.

There will be people waiting in jail for those of the killers who end up there. Killing someone for his Fiesta is just lame, evil, and low”. The idea of snitching in street circles discourages the idea of turning criminals over to the police, but when it is a case of senseless murder, you would think common sense will prevail. Those who know Fabian could have a disturbing summer ahead of them with this bad news fresh in the minds, with anger and sorrow dominating their feelings.
