Overwhelming shock and disappointment over president-elect Trump’s election have been expressed through several assassination threats against the new president-elect of America.

Twitter Flooded With Assassination Threats

Most of the  twitter threats do not appear to be credible, but seem more towards inciting others to assassinate the newly elected president, after he defied the odds and triumphed in America’s most divisive and contended elections.
Some of the spiteful threats highlighted Jan.20 the day Trump is expected to be sworn into office, as the deadline for his assassination. Authorities have said all credible threats will be investigated, yet in a populous country like America home to all types of people of varying temperaments, it is almost impossible to tell which threats are credible and which are not.
Some of the angry sick posts called for both Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence to be assassinated. Trump’s election has greatly angered wide sections of the American public, with violent protests still going on in Los Angeles and other parts of America. Cars have been smashed, set alight, and a number of shops have been smashed, as anger continues to rage among hugely disappointed voters who feel the election results do not represent them at all.
One Twitter user said the “only” remaining question after Tuesday’s historic and polarizing election is who will “assassinate” Trump, who will be inaugurated on Jan. 20. Some users even cited that date as a deadline for the assassination. The threats are a reminder of the threat facing the new President-elect, who will have to have the best security possible since it is quite probable that there are people who wish to attempt to kill him.
Hillary Clinton urged the country to unite behind Donald Trump and receive him with an open mind, but several Americans are violently expressing their disappointment and making a statement that they can’t receive the president-elect with an open mind.  However, there are many Americans  who want Trump dead, but such individuals need to respect the election results and get on with it.  2017 will have a big story to tell.
One certainty is the dangerous threats of assassination and the ongoing violent demonstrations, are not positive developments in President-elect Trump’s recent victory. What matters most is whether president -elect Trump comes through  all the back clash and proves to be a positive president.
President-elect Trump called UK prime minister, Theresa May, on Thursday, stressing the special relationship America will always have with the U.K Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, has invited Trump to Russia. It seems President- elect Trump will get on better with Vladimir Putin than Hilary Clinton would have done, and this may be a good thing or a dangerous thing. President- elect Trump plans to repeal Obama care and many of Obama’s establishments, in order to stamp his own era in history.
