Short Tempered Mike Tyson Bashes Fellow Passenger On San Francisco Airflight

By Shaun Murphy-

Former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson  beat up a fellow passenger on a flight out of San Francisco last night.

Tyson apparently got hot tempered as he flew out from San Francisco International Airport to Florida when after the friend of a man who took selfies with him decided to continuously whisper in his ears

Footage obtained by TMZ shows a passenger sitting behind Tyson and attempting to talk to him. The outlet claims Tyson, 55, was initially happy to talk to the man and pose for a selfie before the pair began to argue.

The former world champion  reportedly walked off the flight – which was bound for Florida – while his alleged victim received medical attention before reporting the incident to the police. Neither Tyson nor the police have commented on the alleged incident.

A source close to Tyson told TMZ that his alleged victim was “extremely intoxicated” and  repeatedly provoked the retired fighter. He apparently also through a bottle of water at the former champ before he eventually lashed out at the passenger.  One or two hot slaps would have demanded a telling off for not reporting to the authorities in the aircraft and the getting the man thrown off, but punching him repeatedly makes  Tyson look immature, and lacking restraint just because a bottle of water was thrown on him.

Tyson, who was the undisputed heavyweight world champion in his prime, last fought competitively in 2005 but returned in an exhibition against Jones Jr. The bout was not declared a draw after six rounds.

In the video, a man can be heard saying “hey, hey, hey, hey Mike, come on, let’s stop that”.

Tyson apparently  left the aircraft shortly after the confrontation, forfeiting the flight money which is chicken feed to him, and heading away from the scene.

The other passenger had cuts to his forehead, photographs showed, and apparently went to the police after receiving medical attention.

Cops were apparently called to the aircraft, but the victim who sustained a few cuts to his head did not co-operate much with the police inquiry.

Tyson’s decision to  physically lash out at a passenger on an aircraft shows him to still lack much restraint and discipline, even at his more advanced age when he should be smarter and exercise more resistance in the face of any type of adversity.

If the former world champion is that easily provoked, he will find himself in either a tougher fight one of these days, or doing a long jail sentence for seriously injuring someone with a health condition who happens to be a bit of a wind up.

Footage from the plane clearly shows the former world champion dishing out some blows to a more or less stationary target.

Both men continue to tease an exhibition bout, however, with Paul saying recently: “I joke with my friends about it, I’m like I’ll start eating Krispy Kreme doughnuts, move up to heavyweight and fight Mike Tyson. That would actually excite me and that’s a $200-300million event.

“So Mike, if you’re watching this let’s have some fun. New school vs old school and I think that’s something that the fans would want to see.”

Tyson, who made his ring comeback against Roy Jones Jr in 2020, reportedly told the man to leave him alone. When he wouldn’t, the footage appears to show Tyson repeatedly landing blows on the man who was left with blood on the right hand side of his face.
