Samantha Bee Deserves Sacking For Vulgar Insult On Ivanka

By Aaron Miller-

U.S president Donald Trump wants American comedian Samantha Bee fired for using a vulgar term to describe his daughter.   Whatever people’s views on president  Trump, and despite some of his obvious weakenesses, his desire to see U.S comedian, Samantha Bee, sacked is justified.  Bee will not get sacked no matter how much  disgust and revulsion is expressed in reaction to her  unprofessional language used on air.

We can  rightly criticize many of Trump’s past comments or actions,  but The Eye Of Media.Com will  always defend the truth in obvious circumstances. Mr Trump tweeted that it was a “total double standard” that TBS had not cancelled Bee’s show, ‘Full Frontal’, after the comedian said Ivanka Trump was a “feckless c***” on immigration.

The president was alluding  to ABC’s decision to cancel Roseanne Barr’s show,  after Barr had  jokingly compared a former White House aide in the Obama administration who is African-American to an ape.  The racist insult was more serious than the offensive language used by Bee, but the comedian’s language was still deserving of severe punishment, at least a fine. Television programmes with hosts that use such foul language are a rotten influence on any society, and give a poor image of their integrity and reputation.

The U.S leader tweet reflected his personal anger against the vulgar attack on his wife.  “Why aren’t they firing no talent Samantha Bee for the horrible language used on her low ratings show?“A total double standard but that’s O.K., we are Winning, and will be doing so for a long time to come!” Social media platforms have debated whether Bee’s use of a misogynistic expletive to criticize Ivanka Trump was tolerable in today’s society.ee’s vulgur put-down of Ivanka came during a monologue about longstanding immigration policy that requires illegal-immigrant children to be held and processed separately from adults.

Donald Trump and his wife, Ivanka Trump, may not be to everybody’s taste, but there is no genuine debate to be had here. The language was degenerate in its expression and form.  Trump ofcourse is no saint when it comes to misogynistic sentiments after  his sexist language and sexual boasting exposed in a 2005 Access Hollywood video which featured some of his past boasts.  That cannot change the standard expected of television presenters or personalities who must always remember the standards expected of them when they speak on air.

The U.S President, known for his impulsive outbursts and criticisms,  attacked at Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, which owns ABC Television Group and ABC News. He asked why he hasn’t received an apology for what he described as “horrible statements” made about him on the network. Bee’s apology for her bad taste of language has been made, but the sincerity of her repentance is questionable.

Reporters were banned from attending an event in which she was cherished with an award.  t but obtained transcripts from keen journalists revealed her somewhat defiant mood.  The Academy of Television Arts  and Sciences  gave her an award at the NeueHouse Hollywood for ‘programming that advanced social change.’ She reportedly said ”we spent the day wrestling with the repercussions of one bad word when’we all should have spent the day incensed that as a nation we are wrenching children from their parents.”

Defiant Award Winner: Samantha Bee

Her comments were stupendously childish and and undisciplined. ABC need to raise their standards of conduct, unless CEO boss Bob Iger approves of such undignified language on his channel and has conveyed that impression to his staff. Samantha Bees vulgar language was worthy of an immediate sacking, but it doesn’t take much imagination to conclude that she probably gets on brilliantly with her bosses, who may lack the real professionalism to take the right judgement.

Insulted: Ivanka Trump
