Royal Family To Pay For Harry’s May 19 Wedding

By Charlotte Webster-

The Royal family will pay for the wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s, announced today to take place on May 19.

The payment will cover the service, the flowers, and the reception. Kensington Palace announced earlier in the week that the couple is due to spend this Christmas together with the Queen at Sandringham.

This will be a gloriously joyful time for the couple in love, and will give Merkle plenty of time to discuss and reflect on her childhood interest in the Royal family. Royal sources also say she will be baptized into the Church of England.

The wedding will potentially be bigger than that of Prince Williams and Kate Middleton because of the American heritage of Merkle which will increase and intensify the global interest. The wedding will take place on Saturday 19 May 2018, Kensington Palace has announced.

TRADITION

The pair confirmed their engagement last month and said the service would be at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

The date notably breaks with tradition because royal weddings usually take place on a weekday. The Queen wed on a Thursday and the Duke of Cambridge on a Friday. However, the Royal family has been modernizing over the years, following the remarkable standard set by the late Princess Diana, who was the people’s princess.

The wedding will coincide on the same day as the FA Cup Final, which Prince William normally attends as FA president.
