50 revelers at a night club in Florida have been killed by a terrorist armed with an air rifle and a short gun. The incident at the pulse night club, also left 53 people injured, in an incident that has shocked America.
The terrorist first held a number of his victims hostage before killing a large number of them in the presence of horrified party goers many of whom ran for their lives.
Orlando is a popular destination for many British terrorists, and it is yet to be known if there are any British casualties or victims among the dead.
Survivors of the attack quickly took to Facebook and Twitter to warn others to stay away from the club. Police confirmed that the gun man was killed by SWAT inside the club. The killings have been described as a domestic terrorist incident.
Florida has always been a gun loving state, even more than other states. No official announcement regarding the precise affiliations of the terrorist who caused these deaths and casualties.
The attack is a reminder of the need for vigilance even in night clubs.
