Queen’s Interesting Telephone Conversation With ArchBishop Of Cantebury

By Sheila Mckenzie-

The Queen had an interesting telephone conversation with the Archbishop of Canterbury in which he wished her a happy Easter.

The telephone call between Mr Welby and the Queen, took place on Tuesday afternoon.

The resourceful Press Association 2020 revealed the news about the interesting telephone call between Mr Welby and the Queen, who holds the title of Defender of the Faith and Supreme Governor of the Church Of England.

The interest surrounding the call is the fact Meghan Markle told Oprah Winfrey that the Archbishop of Canterbury apparently blessed an exchange of vows between herself and her husband   three days before their actual wedding.

It was only yesterday that the former television presenter Piers Morgan raised the issue in an  article by the Daily Mail On Sunday.

The claim has highlighted and criticism by the media, particularly Piers Morgan, who accused the Dutch and Duchess Of Sussex of lying, after subsequent investigations revealed there had only been one legal marriage of the pair two recorded- the one the world witnessed on May 19, 2018.

It has not been revealed whether the ArchBishop commented on the crises that has recently hit the royal family, especially given the fact his name has been at the centre of the claims.

It is unlikely for the full contents of the call to be disclosed to the public, but experts speculate that Mr Welby would likely have likely released a blessing of healing to the royal family, in light of the crises that rocked Buckingham Palace.Archbishop of Canterbury on Twitter: "It was a great honour to have a telephone audience with Her Majesty The Queen this afternoon. Expert analyst Hortensia Daniels. told The Eye Of Media.Com: ”it is interesting that the Queen and the ArchBishop Of Canterbury have had a conversation just a day after Piers Morgan revived the disproven claim that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married three days earlier than the national wedding.

‘We already know it is possible Prince Harry and Meghan arranged a private wedding presided by the ArchBishop Of Canterbury, but much focus has been on exposing the claim  to be false.

Whether the claim is false or not depends on  whether the Arch Bishop actually blessed the pair privately , and if so, what Meghan’s purpose of  the exchange of private vows three days prior was’ , she added.

Another observer, writer and philosopher, Terry Edwards, said: ”it is quite possible  the claim of a marriage three days prior to the actual national wedding would have come up in the conversation.

The Majesty the Queen ‘s private conversation with dignitaries and world leaders are never disclosed, and remains a matter between her and the person with whom she is discussing.

However, it is a logical deduction that the pair could easdily have discussed the matter, as the Queen would have every right to inquire the facts of the claim, and if true, demand an explanation. However, there are no facts regarding all of what was said in that private conversation”.

The Queen was reunited with the Duke of Edinburgh at Windsor earlier this month after the duke spent a month in hospital.

Great Honour

Commenting on their latest telephone call, the Most Reverend Justin Welby said it was “a great honour” as he bestowed blessings upon the monarch and her family.

Mr Welby tweeted a picture of himself with a phone to his ear and wrote: “It was a great honour to have a telephone audience with Her Majesty The Queen this afternoon.

“I was able to update her on the work of @churchofengland throughout the pandemic and wish her a happy Easter.

“May God continue to bless and protect her and her family.”

The Royal Family Twitter account retweeted Mr Welby’s post, confirming the telephone audience had taken place.

The Queen was reunited with the Duke of Edinburgh at Windsor earlier this month after the duke spent a month in hospital.

The duke had been moved to the NHS hospital by ambulance, after initially being treated at the private King Edward VII’s Hospital in central London and then returning there to recuperate after surgery.
