The birth of Meghan’s baby boy has been celebrated right across the world, in particular the Uk. The unnamed child is seventh in line to the thrown, a Taurian, with a bright future which will change the face of the Monarchy. He is the first mixed race child to become a member of the royal family and will find his place in that mix as he grows older.
By the time the young child is in his teens, he will discover that his mother was the subject of an early media onslaught before his birth, partly to give the British public full knowledge of her told from their own lenses. He will also learn that much of media criticism against her was also partly due to the Dutchess’s deviations from royal protocols. What will matter most to him is how Meghan is perceived by the British people at that time.

He will hopefully adapt well. A lot will hinge on his own natural inclinations and development. Meghan is reportedly changing a few practices in the royal family that affect by departing from some customary habits. How those departures from royal traditions are perceived by the media, will in turn influence public opinion about her. It is worth noting the departures from royal conventions are ascribed exclusively to Meghan, not Harry.
This ignores Prince Harry’s well known history of showing consistent traits of independence over the years.
