Piers Morgan, a British journalist and former presenter of Good Morning Britain controversially claimed in a recent interview with talkRADIO said that Meghan Markle instructed Prince Harry to attend the coronation of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in 2022.
Morgan further suggested that Markle’s motive for this alleged instruction was to “upstage” the Queen and garner attention for herself.
However, the delivery of his message was satirical because of the funny side to his hypothetically imposed view, which some of his audience may or may not find very probable.
Morgan said Prince Harry was sent to maintain his royal image which the couple are financially dependent on. His claims are based on the books and Netflix spread of their story which has annoyed and irritated many segments of the Uk society, but has also been welcome and defended by other groups.
There has been no official confirmation or denial from either Meghan Markle or Prince Harry regarding the alleged instruction.
The duchesses are not in Piers Morgan’s good books, and the hysteria surrounding the kings coronation has seen multiple claims and perspectives about the king’s coronation.
Morgan has plenty of history with the couple after he told his Good Morning Britain’s audience that he would not believe a word that came out of her mouth. He added that he would not believe Meghan if she read him a weather report. His attack was seen as devaluing her claims and ‘right to be believed’ in complaints related to suicide. He was forced to bow out of the programme he had hosted with good pay for six years.
He would later select aspects of Meghan’s claims and discredit them, winning support across many regions of the Uk, while being despised by an almost equally large group of dissenters on the issue.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been very topical in the media following the controversies associated with their multiple unflattering interviews about the royal family, amid the bitter tension with the The Sussexes and the British Press.
The play of events between the press and the sussexes is self fulfilling between both parties, as the judicial adversarial relationship continues to play out on news outlets, each with a different take on it, some also having split views on how to cover emerging stories concerning Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle

Piers Morgan’s announcement on this occasion was on the risky side and could easily be viewed as defamatory in the absence of hard evidence to support the claim, the question is whether most people would have taken his claim seriously, or just seen it as an attack by her arch rival.
The suggestion from the television journalist is conceivable in the context of probability, but its only weakness is that a royal member is naturally expected to attend big occasions like this, no matter the family situation. His distrust for Meghan Markle is well documented, and he is not alone.
This, still fails to justify inflaming matters further in a very difficult and sensitive sitiation.
The possibility that Prince Harry may or may not attend left it open to speculation as to what the eventual situation will be and what my have spurred him to reveal in the last minute his plans to attend the Coronation.
Under standard procedures, Prince Harry is expected to attend almost all big events associated with his father, King Charles III. Despite that, he is under no real obligation to attend, but bsence would always have hurt his reputation severely.
There had been much speculation in the media in the weeks leading up to his final declaration of attendance, as to whether he will attend his father’s big event.
Harry has mixed feelings about the event. He is not overcome with any level of joy that it is not his mother their with his father, yet has to honour his father’s big day by being present on the occasion. He is forced to formerly accept the situation,
His wife, Meghan Markle has been accused of exploiting the royal family, by marrying Harry to allegedly fulfil her personal interests. She is said to be pulling the strings and wearing the trousers in the relationship, though there is no clear evidence about who is in charge in the relationship.
Supporters of the duchess claim she was always targeted to have been an outsider because of her mixed race heritage. Her divorce background has also been cited as one of the things held against her which allegedly led to an aversion to taking her in properly.
But there are many accounts of defiant and an overbearing conduct by the duchess, which evidences some degree of mental health issues without revealing exactly what was triggering such display of mental health.
According to Meghan and her spokes people, it was the unfair treatment and lying to the press against her being orchestrated Prince Harry’s brother, Prince William.
Royal insiders have at various stages come out to report accounts of Meghan Markle being an aggressor , leaving it impossible to always determine whether they are based on contaminated hear say, or absolutely factual.
Difficult
Media Insiders and royal experts insist the duchess made life impossible for her staff and the royal family, and was very difficult to deal with. A number of sources have said she made no real efforts to make things work out and did not want it to work out.
Meghan Markle has never fully addressed allegations that she was difficult to deal with by, but has categorically denied all bullying allegations against her with her former staff.
She as always maintained she tried all she could to achieve harmony with the royals before matters deteriorated to the level they did.
Harry’s recent book ‘spare’ is still being evaluated to gain any broader picture of the forces underlying a difficult family dispute.
Piers Morgan does not trust the Duchess of Sussex, but if his open criticism is inspired by open wounds from their original clash, Morgan would be erring in troubling the storm.
Analysts believe aggravating an already bad situation is not desirable in matters like this.
Researcher Joshua Loophood said: Emotions about Prince Harry and Meghan have long been running high to different measures by different groups of people. The royal family is at a delicate point in their history, and there challenges should be dealt with very sensitively”.
