Piers Morgan Blasts Meghan Markle’s Request To Ban Pictures At Wimbledon

By James Simons-

Television presenter, Piers Morgan, has labelled Meghan Markle’s request  ”a joke” after her security staff banned a media photographer from having pictures taken of her during her appearance at Wimbledon when watching Serena Williams playing.  The disappointed television presenter criticised The Dutchess Of Sussex’s presumed instructions not to allow photographs of her, despite her attending a public sporting event where the media would be present in abundance.

Morgan said: “If you go to Wimbledon in your free tickets in the Royal Box, the best seats in the house for nothing, and you take your two bezzies… you’re public people.

“If you want to be private, go back to America and live privately.”

Morgan’s rant was sparked after The Daily Telegraph reported that 64-year-old Sally Jones was ordered to not take any pictures of Meghan, because she was “in a private capacity”.

Mrs Jones said of the moment: “I think this royal protection officer was quite embarrassed.Continuing his rant, Piers said: “If you go to Wimbledon in your free tickets in the Royal Box, the best seats in the house for nothing, and you take your two bezzies… you’re public people.
