A paedo pensioner caught with a sickening amount  of porn involving women having sex with eels, snakes and dogs has been jailed for 18 months.

Gerard Fox, 66, was jailed after a  haul of photos and videos depicted grotesque porn was found in his home. He and confessed to having a ‘sexual interest’ in animals

The retired logistics manager was caught by police after his computer’s IP address showed he was downloading extreme pornography and indecent images of children. The big time pervert had 1414 photos and videos showing people engaging in sex acts with a number of creatures. He was also found with a total of 36,405 indecent images of children. Close to 3000 of them were  rated as being the most extreme.

Investigators  discovered  Fox had been using Skype to share warped fantasies with other perverts he had met online. Fox, of Stonehouse, Lanarkshire, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court and admitted having the haul between June 2015 and August 2018. He has been jailed by Sheriff Thomas Millar who also put him on the sex offenders register for 10 years.

Fox was also hit with a sexual offences prevention order for the same time after being deemed a danger to children. Depute fiscal Liza Lann said: “In August 2018, police received information from a national online child abuse prevention agency that during November 2017 a device was connected to the internet and indecent images of children had been accessed.

“Police seized a white Toshiba laptop and a hard-drive and the accused admitted ownership of them and advised he was the only person to use them.

“The items were examined and a number of indecent images were found.

“There were a total of 36,405 images across both devices. They were held in folders that appeared to be organised by the user of the device.

“His wife said she had some use of the laptop but that was to buy some things and to look at hotels.

“An investigation found a Skype account on the laptop and conversations were extracted from this account which showed conversations with like minded adult males.

“It was expressed by the accused that he had a sexual interest in animals.

“Officers also found 1414 images showing extreme pornography and the images showed a variety of women carrying out sexual acts with dogs, snakes and eels.”

Andy Iles, defending, said: “He is well aware of the extremely serious nature of these offences and the likely consequences of it. He accessed images which were deplorable.
