Television show host, Piers Morgan left his fellow host speechless when he offered her to bed live on air on Good Morning Britain.
The 51 year old former daily mirror editor said “let’s go to somebody I’d like to get into bed with metaphorically and business wise, Lorraine Kelly!
Lorraine and Suzanne Reid both looked shocked, as Morgan clarified ” Metaphorically and business wise”.
Lorraine replied, ” I am speechless for once”, as she giggled. Morgan’s naughty comments came not long after his advances to Suzanna was rejected, as he jovially accused her of harassment.
Morgan built a reputation as a straight principled man as editor of the daily mirror before being pressured out by the infamous hacking scandal that humiliated a large section of the main press. Now, he has done well to be the.main host of Good Morning Britain, and he is offering his Co host to bed, as a joke?
Morgan had earlier been overly playful with Suzanna and Ranger Singh when asking them for a group hug.
Piers Morgan expressed depression arising from the political developments since the Brexit vote of five days ago.
Morgan then asked his Co hosts Suzanna and Ranger Singh for a group hug. Suzanna blatantly rejected the request, although Singh visibly obliged to his harmless but unnecessary request.
Suzanna said ” I’m sorry but physical contact with you is just too much for me”, I’ll give you a pat on the arm instead.”
But outspoken Morgan then moved her arm away as she attempted to pat his arm, jovially shouting ” harassment in the workplace”.
Suzanna did not look amused by the joke one bit. Morgan needs to behave more professionally on television and not unwittingly perpetuate the notion of women as sexual objects.
His Good morning show often deals with real issues and Morgan is often engaging and professionally direct in his dealings with his guests.
However, his latest over flirtatious tendencies with his female colleagues is unprofessional. It also sends the wrong message to other television male hosts with privileged positions.
How can a former newspaper editor behave this way offering his female colleague to bed? It raises questions of how he would behave off camera if he is like this on camera. It raises questions about whether he has grown comfortable with this kind of behaviour in his other posts.
Naughty Piers Morgan said his comments were metaphorical and business wise, but those comments were also naughty and unprofessional.
Why is he asking his female colleagues for a group hug on national television?Naughty Piers Morgan is bringing the programme to disrepute by his conduct.
He is far better than this and should maintain professional conducts at all times. Jokes are good, but there must be boundaries.
Morgan was in my good books when he was critical of Kim Khadashian for colluding with Kanye West for turning women into a piece of meat in the new sick video of the controversial star called ” famous”.
Morgan was talking sense there, but was very unprofessional in offering Suzanne to bed.
