Michael Jackson’s Accusers’ Parents Were Very Irresponsible

By Gabriel Princewill-

The parents of Michael Jackson’s accusers and  of all the other young children who allowed their kids to be left with a grown man, were very irresponsible.  Excuses for their ultra irresponsible acts carry no real weight in retrospect of the deeply disturbing news.  Their presumptuous view that a celebrated star must be a saint of magnificence was extremely naive of them.

When we  really  examine the hard facts that these parents allowed  children of ten years old and under to stay with a grown adult unattended for not just days, but months at a time, for a period lasting years, it is shocking. Their parents should have been fined heavily for their stupidity at the time.

James Safechuck claimed to have been sexually abused between the ages of  seven and fourteen, all because his irresponsible parents allowed him to roam freely with Michael Jackson. Stephanie safechuck(pictured) told the documentary, ‘Leaving Neverland’ that Jackson seemed so nice and kind, and always said he couldn’t hurt any children . She said he would sometimes have tears in his eyes.

This self portrayal of an innocent and harmless man led to his mother allowing her son to stay in a bedroom with a man in his thirties all alone. No doubt, the fact Jackson was a global star contributed greatly to the negligent choices made by the various parents of these young children. Naturally, their acquaintance with a man of the international clout of Jackson signalled the possibility of riches coming their way some day.

Of most concern was the way Stephanie Safechucks spoke so lovingly of Michael Jackson, giggling as she gave her account of what happened. She giggled on occasions and he seemed unaffected by the story and her son  were telling the world, their credibility could have been questioned by some. Some individuals re so awed by the attention generated from the experience of a television documentary, it could evoke behaviours that contradict the levity of the topic at hand.

James Safechuck and the other kids were clearly awed by the splendour and opulence of their surroundings at Neverland. As young children, they would have been utterly mesmerised and spellbound by the daily luxury of being in the company of the king of pop. He should have been saved by his parents, but they were busy arguing, much to the pleasure of Michael Jackson, according to Safechuck’s account.

”You see how evil women are”, he claims Jackson would say when his mother would yell at his father. After a while, the he says he began to develop a picture of ”us and them”, putting himself and Michael Jackson in a separate category to his parents.

TOYS

Safechuck told the documentary how Jackson would take him and the boys shopping, initially asking them to fill the cart with one item. He said the offer from Jackson later progressed to boundless access to toys. He said Jackson often  asked them to fill up the cart with toys. It soon went from toys to expensive jewellery He admits being overwhelmed by the star presence of Jackson, especially during concerts where music was vibrating throughout the building, with the young child  given an important centre stage role.

The poor relationship between Ms Safechuck and her husband  may have made it convenient for her son to be out of sight during their many rows, but that is a poor excuse. It doesn’t help at all that he defended Jackson in a court case where he could have nailed the star if his account is true, but Safechuck’s claims to have experience nightmares in which Michael Jackson could die in jail provides a relatively plausible explanation for his refusal .

ATTENTION

Ms Safechucks herself admitted feeling special by the attention Jackson gave her family. She recounted that as he entered their home, he would gasp : ”the safechucks”, as though he were in the best family home in the world. A predator in a warped state of mind would consider as a blessing, any careless family that affords them unregulated access to their young child.

As human beings with brains who are conscious of the world we live in, it is very surprising and disappointing  these parents permitted their children to stay with Jackson alone for so long. Allegations of sexual abuse  in the hands of Jackson  by other children was sufficient alarm for any parent not to have their child with Jackson alone. The reality is that these parents were star struck themselves.  As convincing as the testimonies of the two boys sound, there is still no  independent evidence to support their accounts.

Yet, so compelling were the detailed accounts of both Safechucks and Robson, it is hardly conceivable that their testimonies were fabrications. Instead, they serve as grim reminders for parents to be very vigilant with their children, even when dealing with the most trusted of human beings.

Jackson is  dead and gone, not here to defend himself in the face of these serious allegations that dogged his career when he was alive.  .Jackson denied the allegations until his death, whilst the young boys were acutely aware of the all the facts all these years. The documentary whilst an eternal warning to parents and children, also reveals the height of  irresponsible behaviour by some parents with their children. Their offence is so unforgivable that their grown up children would be forgiven for giving their parents a real adult telling off.
