Meghan Markle Exposes Half Sister For Changing Surname To Exploit Dutchess

By Victoria Mckeown-

Meghan Markle exposed her half-sister, Samantha Markle, for changing her surname back to match her half-sibling Meghan, after  the former actress began dating Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex has told.

The revelation was one of many bombshells that the former television star dropped during her no bars interview to American chat show host Oprah Winfrey.

During the tell-all chat, which aired in the USA last night and will be shown on ITV at 9pm tonight – Meghan opened up about her half-sister Samantha Markle and how she has not seen her for around 19-years.

It exposes Meghan’s half sibling as an opportunist who took advantage of the Sussex’s name, but still leaves the expressed opinion of Samantha open to public interpretation, depending on each point made.

The latest revelation  about Samantha Markle changing her surname after Meghan began dating Harry, makes her half sister look bad at the moment.

A response can be expected  from Samantha anytime soon, as the bitter all round broad family feud boils over.

Samantha and Meghan both share Thomas Markle’s blood, but have different mothers. Samantha  written a book about Meghan Markle, and giving several interviews and commentary on the Dutchess Of Sussex, despite not knowing Meghan well at all . She has appeared on CNN, and Piers Morgan’s, Good Morning Britain, digging into Meghan Markle, who has only just been able to launch her own assault to discredit her half sister.

Commenting about Samantha’s public discussion about depressed Meghan, Harry’s wife said  she would have loved to have had siblings as she “grew up as an only child,” Meghan told Oprah: “I wished I had siblings. I would have loved to have had siblings.”

Meghan continued: “I mean, the last time I saw [Samantha] must have been at least 18, 19 years ago. And before that, ten years before that.”

“She changed her last name back to Markle. And I think she was in her early 50s at that time, only when I started dating Harry,” Meghan told Oprah.

Not saying too much on the topic, but making it clear that they are not close and hinting that Samantha’s name change could be viewed as opportunist, Meghan added: “So I think that says enough.”

Courage

The White House has said that it took courage for the Duchess of Sussex to share sharing her “struggles with mental health” during her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, was asked if Joe Biden had watched the interview, and what he thought about “the racism they [the Duke and Duchess] felt”.

Ms Psaki said: “Let me first say, obviously, many of us caught the interview, as many Americans did, and around the world. Meghan Markle is a private citizen and so is Harry at this point.

“For anyone to come forward and speak about their own struggles with mental health, and tell their own personal story, that takes courage.”

However, The Biden administration said it will not provide any further “commentary” on the interview, she added.

The interview, to be shown on Itv at 9 o’clock tonight, is bound to cause a backlash of some sort in the coming days or weeks ahead.

Buckingham Palace announced an investigation into bullying allegations against Meghan by her personal assistants before she stepped back from royal duties. That investigation has been interpreted by U.S media as appearing to be vengeful in response to the Oprah interview. It could still open up a ca of worms.
