Meghan Markle Accused By Aides Of Acting Out Lies To Defame Royal Family

By Sheila Mckenzie-

Accusations of falsehoods against the Sussexes by royal aids  in their Netflix docuseries in relation to Meghan’s claims that she was not prepared for life in the monarchy is disturbing.

Aids familiar with intimate details of the allegations made by Meghan Markle insist the duchess has not told the truth in claims relating to preparation she was given for life as a royal.

The Netflix docuseries earned the Duke and duchess of sussex $20m and  was sold to the public as being based on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s truth, but their critics are directly accusing them of lying through their teeth.

Meghan’s claims to have been given no advice or instructions on how to adapt to royal life, dress or curtsy was attacked over the weekend by  palace insiders who say that six months before the pair married, Meghan, 41, was handed a 30-point dossier by Prince Harry’s then private secretary Ed Lane Fox.

The dossier apparently had an abundance of  information and contacts to help her settle into royal life.

The strong allegations present Meghan Markle as a liar, who would be well placed to lodge a suit for defamation if the rebuttals against this particular claims is actually false.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have in the past successfully sued the British press over relatively minor issues compared to one defamation.

During the first three episodes of the series, Meghan’s claim she had been left with little guidance, unlike in the Disney film The Princess Diaries when the heir to throne is given ‘Princess lessons’.

Speaking in the documentary the Duchess said: ‘Joining this family, I knew that there was a protocol for how things were done, and do you remember that old movie The Princess Diaries with Anne Hathaway?

‘There’s no class and some person who goes, ‘sit like this, cross your legs like this, use a fork, don’t do this, curtsy then, wear this kind of hat’ – doesn’t happen. I never saw pictures or videos of a walkabout.”.

A palace source speaking to The Sunday Times branded the claims as a ‘total lie’.

They said: ‘There was prep for everything, walkabouts – even though she was engaged to someone who’d done hundreds of them – clothes, everything. The level of support was intense.’

Documents

Royal aids  say Mr Fox, known as ‘Elf’, handed Meghan over documents detailing what to wear, the royal family and the constitution, the institution’s heads of departments, ladies in waiting, arts in the UK, the Charity Commission and how to handle public life in general.

Prince Harry’s then private private secretary Ed Lane Fox, known as Elf, (pictured) is said to have handed Meghan a 30-point dossier about how to adapt to royal life

Each section of the dossier then contained experts who could provide further information.

The source continued: ‘It was huge, the amount of work Elf put into getting her access to anyone and he gave her books on the stuff.’

Meghan is believed to have taken up just two meetings with experts – one with the late Queen’s private secretary Lord Geidt and another with a ‘trusted fashion person’.

Half Sister’s Daughter Omission From Wedding Invite

Meghan has also been accused of suggesting that Kensington Palace advised her not to invite Ashleigh Hale, the daughter of her estranged half-sister Samantha Markle because she was advised by the ‘very small comms team’ not to invite Ashleigh as they ‘couldn’t wrap there head around’ how to explain ‘that this half-sister isn’t invited to the wedding, but that the half-sister’s daughter is.’

Yet anonymous sources told The Mail on Sunday it was the duchess who didn’t want Ashleigh there : ‘It was completely in Meghan’s gift as to which members of her friends and family to invite to her wedding. It wasn’t a discussion, it was her decision.’

There has been no confirmation as to whether Meghan Markle did not want the daughter of her half sibling at the wedding because of an earlier advise she took on board,  or whether indeed the duchess of sussex did not want her there herself because of ptress concerns or her relationship with her mother.

Lies

Ahead of the second half of the series,  and while still on the topic of lies, the trailer shows the couple saying why they stepped down from royal duties.

Prince Harry appears to accuse the royal family or the press of lying to protect his brother Prince William, but not prepared to tell the truth to protect him.

“They were happy to lie to protect my brother, they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us,” says Prince Harry in the latest trailer for the Harry and Meghan series on Netflix.

Meghan adds: “I wasn’t being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves,” says Meghan.

Exactly what both mean in detail is expected to be revealed in the next episode.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were contacted for comment.
