Man Shot In Stratford Facing Life Threatening Injuries

By Andrew Young-

A man is facing life threatening injuries, after being shot in the head in Stratford, east London.

Police were called to the incident on Romford Road shortly before 10.30pm yesterday. It follows an earlier shooting last week in Carpenters road in Stratford, after two men ran out of car to shoot another man in his car. The man survived the attack.

The latest shooting is believed to be part of feud between rival groups in east london peddling drugs, and has become characteristic of the gangland warfare destroying london youths.

Ambulance Service staff rushed the 21-year-old victim to hospital, where his injuries are being treated as “life-threatening”.

Police cordons have been set up on Romford Road junction with Water Lane eastbound. The incident has led to a disruption of traffic in the area, but the greatest concern must now be what tension is building on between the friends and acquaintances of both the attacker and the victim .
