Justin Bieber has deleted his account and left the photo and video service. The Canadian music star was the world’s sixth biggest instagram user with 77.9 million followers and 3,779 images and videos, according to data from social blade.
The reason for his sudden disappearance appears to be a row with his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, with whom he is said to be in a relationship. Fans were disapproving of th e new photos, prompting Bieber to threaten to shut down his instagram.
Bieber said ” I’m gonna make my instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate, this is getting out if hand, if you guys are really fans you won’t be so mean to people that I like”
His girlfriend Gomez replied ” if you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend- it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans, they love you. They were there for you before anyone”.
suggesting that hus girlfriend used Bieber name to achieve fame, Bieber responded by saying “it’s funny to see people thar used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love.
“I’m not one for receiving hate. Hope you can all be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I Iove my beliebers”

But Gomez stayed in the fight, saying ” Funny how the ones who cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at th e ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. SAD. All love”.
She later seemed to be in retreat mode when she shared a snapchat photo with th e words ” what I said was selfish and pointless”.
FAIR COMMENT
Gomez’s response was fair comment, though not one she needed to state publicly on twitter. Her comments that their photos should be between each other is weak and insensitive if she has never previously made her views known to Bieber.
That comment naturally had the potential to really upset Bieber, who is known for sometimes acting childish and throwing tantrums over all sorts.
But her comment that Bieber ceases posting pictures of his girlfriend if he can’t handle critical comments from his fans, is fair comment.
Bieber should not expect his fans to only make comments he wants to hear, though hateful comments on social media is always going to be unacceptable and unjustified. Not without a valid reason.
