Prosecutors have called on a federal judge to detain  Oathkeeper’s leader, Jessica Watkins, whom they accuse of harboring extreme views that the Biden presidency poses an “existential threat” and actively recruited people to participate in a coup.

Prosecutors  say she habour’s dangerous  views which pose a danger to the American public. She is quoted saying on November 17, days following the election as telling a recruit that if Biden was president, then “our Republic would be over. Then it is our duty as Americans to fight, kill and die for our rights.”

New court documents reveal that a leader of a pro-Trump paramilitary group told prosecutors Ms watkins was heeding the call of President Donald Trump to “stop the steal” of the 2020 presidential election, by storming the U.S. Capitol Building on Jan. 6.

A legal filing at the Department of Justice (DOJ) describes the “premeditated” actions of Jessica Watkins, a leader of the Oath Keepers, a paramilitary group that considers the federal government has been “co-opted by shadowy conspiracy.”

Prosecutors are clear that Watkins believed she was following Trump’s call to siege the Capitol and stop Congress’ certification of the 2020 election results.

A member of the Oath Keepers militia group,  Watkins stands accused of participating in a conspiracy to assault the Capitol in “an organized and practiced fashion” to stop Congress from certifying the results of the election.

Watkins indicated that she was awaiting direction from President Trump,” prosecutors wrote in the court filing.

Watkins  is accused of using militant language to prepare the group to combat the “existential threat” of President Joe Biden’s inauguration — should Trump send them the call,  according to the document. The filings say she reportedly wrote to a recruit: “We already have our neck in the noose. They just haven’t kicked in the chair yet.”

Over 200 people have been charged in connection with the riots.

The memos suggest the former president wanted the rioters to act;

In the memo, prosecutors say Watkins exchanged texts with another co-defendant and other unidentified contacts about coordinating a “quick reaction force” (QRF) which would be there as back-up with guns if needed on Jan. 6.

“(W)e can have mace, tasers, or night sticks. QRF staged, armed, with our weapons, outside the city,” she wrote, noting the armed team would be “outside DC with guns, await … orders to enter DC under permission from Trump.”
