I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Contestants Given Entrance Mental Tests

The  line-up of celebrities  for this year’s I’m a celebrity get me out of here have  had to undergo ‘mental tests’ to ensure they could cope with the pressure of the show, it’s claimed.

This year the ITV reality show has been moved from the Australian jungle to a spooky castle in Wales due to coronavirus restrictions, so there are lots of new challenges to face.

Stars were reportedly checked to assess their ability to cope with the cold, hunger, and also the intense pressure of Bushtucker Trials at Gwrych Castle in Abergele, The Daily Star reports.

They were also tested on their ability to handle being away from loved ones for up to three weeks, the Daily Star reports. Participating celebs were also quizzed on their fears, phobias and any past addictions.

A source said: “The screening takes place before contracts are signed. The psych test is to evaluate someone’s ability to cope in the show.

“There are no right and wrong answers.

“The answers given show someone’s likely reaction to a set of circumstances and the team then weigh up whether that person is correct for the show.”

Stars a rumoured to be taking part in I’m A Celebrity 2020 include Shane Richie, Mo Farah, Vernon Kay, Victoria Derbyshire, AJ Pritchard and Beverley Callard are all said to be taking part.
